How to get Twitch drops on Rust (Outdated)

How to get Purple Glasses, Purple Underwear and Headset on Rust.

Step 1: Connect your accounts

First thing first, you need to connect your Twitch account to your Rust account and activate the drops from this link: https://twitch.facepunch.com/

• Notes:

  
  
  • Even if you already connected your Steam and Twitch accounts, Rust needs you to connect them again by using their website probably because Twitch doesn't share your Steam ID with Rust directly.
    
    
  • If you don't want to put your credentials in the log-in page even though it is Steam's official page that allows Rust to see your Steam ID, you can log in to Steam from a new tab in the browser and then sign in through the website without needing to put your credentials.

Step 2: Start watching a stream

Secondly, go to this link and choose any stream to watch: https://www.twitch.tv/directory/game/Rust?tl=c2542d6d-cd10-4532-919b-3d19f30a768b

• Notes:

  
  
  • You can mute the stream and have it running in the background and you will still get progression towards the drops.
    
    
  • But remember that, after getting enough progression to collect a drop, you must collect it to start getting progression for the next drop.
    
    
  • You can always change which stream you are watching as long as drops are activated on that one.

Step 3: Claim the drop

When the progress is completed, you can see a button saying "Claim Now". You have to claim the item to get it in your Steam inventory and start getting progress for the next drop. This is the link to access the drop page: https://www.twitch.tv/drops/inventory

How many hours to watch

You need to watch for 1 hour to claim the reward Purple Glasses.

You need to watch for 2 more hours to claim the reward Purple Underwear.
(3 hours in total)

You need to watch for 3 more hours to claim the reward Headset.
(6 hours in total)

• Notes:

  
  
• Keep in mind that you need to claim the previous reward to start earning progress for the next one.
  
  
• Watching more than one stream at the same time doesn't speed up the progress.

What to do if drops didn't arrive after claiming

Click the Check For Missing Drops button on the website and they will appear in your inventory in seconds.

Deadline

You can claim the drops until 19th of November, 6:30 PM (EST).

Edit: Time is up, but i'm not deleting the guide as there will be more Twitch drops in the future.
