Description
A prop of the DRS Konigsberg, as she used to appear in World of Warships before the 1927 hull was removed.

Yes I am aware that the Weimar Navy did not use any ship prefixes. To keep consistency with my previous ports (and because I could not find a popularly accepted prefix for them) I went with DRS; Deutsches Reich Schiff.

Oh yeah, this is the only ship in that game in Weimar-era condition.

THIS IS NOT A DRIVEABLE VEHICLE, AND I WILL NEVER MAKE IT ONE, SO PLEASE, DO NOT BOTHER ASKING.

Fully rigged, use a model tool to tamper with moving parts.

Includes:
DRS Konigsberg (1930) (normal, broken, skybox)

Historical notes:

Lead ship of the K-class cruisers of the Weimar Republic's Reichsmarine, Konigsberg had many novel features for her time. She was upgraded with a catapult shortly before the Second World War, where she participated in the invasion of Norway, being crippled by norwegian coastal guns and sank in harbor by british bombers. She was later raised and scrapped in 1942.

Armament as of 1930 consisted of 3x3 149.1mm/60 C/25 guns, 2x1 88mm/45 C/13 guns, 4x1 7.92mm MG08 machineguns and 4x3 533mm torpedo tubes.

I included the option to replace the MG08's with 20mm C/38 guns in a recreation of a later refit, although this is not 100% accurate to the model's condition.

The K-class class class consisted of 3 ships, Konigsberg, Karlsruhe and Koln.

Old description:

Konigsberg

The first modern cruiser commissioned by the Weimar Republic's Reichsmarine, later serving with Nazi Germany's Kriegsmarine. Konigsberg was mostly used for patrols and goodwill trips throughout the 1930s, while being simulatenously upgraded and updated. After WW2 began, Konigsberg was part of group 3 during Operation Weserubung, taking heavy damage from Norwegian coastal guns near Bergen. After the capture of Bergen, the Konigsberg had to be docked in harbor for repairs, during which a raid by british naval bombers succeed in critically damaging and sinking the ship. Only 18 men died during the raid and the ship sank slowly enough that the germans managed to remove both wounded and dead crewmembers on time. The ship was later raised and scrapped in 1942.

Use a model tool like Advanced Bone Tool or Overhauled Bone Tool. I recommend the latter.

how do you move the guns

UPDATE:
Redid all weapon models on the ship. Removed unnecessary bodygroups on the torpedo launchers and added an option to replace the MG08's with 20mm guns. The main battery guns now can be elevated individually.

Yeah, because of the size of the model, the icon shows the space below the model, which is a pisser, but I don't know yet of a way to deal with that.

Thats the plan, only issue is there dosent seem to be a full size intact model

Well, until then, you can probably get an approximation of the Konigsberg in 1939 from this.
