G530 G Class - Flatbeds (8)

Description
Today none of the G class locomotives in service use their original livery - the fleet was sold off to various logistics companies after the freight division of V/Line was privatised. This recreation presents G530 in its present Pacific National livery.

The locomotive pulls a train of 8 flatbed wagons (based on the VFTX wagon) carrying ISO shipping containers in 40' and 20' varieties, liquid tankers, as well as logs and long metal tubes. These use the Trailer Variation Loader mod to reflect the cargo of the train. It also auto-reverses the locomotive in the direction of travel.

Rather than stick with the "goods" and "materials" distinction I've just referred directly to the kind of wagon they pull. These are the same wagons from my earlier G class trains, shuffled in a different order.

Thanks to Koku - these liveries were a bonus on the G class items that I was keen to make, but you'd have none of them at all without his commission!

G530 (Pacific National)
9,896 / 274 tris
1024x1024 / 64x64 textures

VFTX (base wagon)
4,224 / 142 tris
1024x2048 / 256x128 textures
(Basically all the cargo shares the identical LOD set across every texture type - hopefully this means they should share materials and conserve space in the LOD atlas per LSM)

That sounds like you haven't subscribed or activated the Trailer Variation Loader mod listed in required items. Each trailer contains 9 submeshes for different cargo types (goods, animal products, grain, logs, ore, liquid, etc.). The mod will switch off all but one of them to reflect what kind of cargo it's carrying. without it they will all stay on.

any ideas why trailers are flashing like there's more than 1 textur/trailer?
