Description
Stellaris always seems to lag late game. As everyone knows.

Population/Jobs seem to be the main cause of such issues what with the game running a bajillion checks a day or whatever.

I would have preferred to limit it by planet size but events are unfun to work with for me and take much to much time to figure out. So instead with this a planet can support only however much housing you can create.

No I dont like this, yes it doesnt make sense. But I'm doing my part to try to fix lag so I can actually enjoy the game v.v

Overwrites
Vanilla 00_static_modifiers file to add reductions to the planet_overcroweded modifier to prevent pops from being created if no housing is available.

I dont even know where Planetary Capacity files are located. By the looks of the page, this mod just puts a modifier on the planet that prevents pops from growing if you have no free housing.

I dont mean that to sound like a smartbutt answer. Its been a long time since I worked on this and I have no memory of how exactly I did it.

I know it wasnt Planetary Capacity but I also make no changes to the file if that is what you are looking for.

does this mod modify planetary capacity? Will I still suffer overcapacity
if I have housing available?

Thats not a bug, overcrowding is overcrowding. The game does not differentiate between non-sentient and sentient pops

Bug report: unemployed robot pops also stop organic pop growth, and possibly vice versa.
