The eight islands [8p]

Description
A map (500x500 tiles) which is played on the control of the islands to get the most money (45 resource pools) and on the information capture of the opponent thanks to their good positioning. It has been created for 2v2v2v2 games where each team is on one side of the map.


At first sight you would think that this map is only maritime and air, but the large size of his islands and the difficulty to defend them due to their remoteness make them vulnerable to a landing by land units. Thus this map allows you to play the land army as you wish.


-On each island where players will start there will be three resource pools. These islands are either snowy, mountainous, temperate or desert but they all have four beaches which will allow your units to land on your opponents' bases. Although their shapes are a little different they all have an extra cliff on the island to give it a more imposing style and this will force you to plan your defences well.

-On the central island there are five ressource pools, four of which are more or less in the corners on cliffs and the last one in the centre among lava lakes. There are four beaches, one on each side where the attackers can come and land because this island is quite big and can be played by several teams at the same time.

-On the banana-shaped islands there are two ressource pools set up in order to optimise the game in teams of two. So this banana allows you to have a sea area for you and your ally. There are three beaches, one facing the centre of the map and one facing each island of the players who are allied to each other.

-There is a ressource pool on each island in the corners of the map. Be careful because they are quite far from your bases but they will allow you to avoid being surprised by a plan of your enemy who wanted to attack you from the rear.

-The small diagonal islands between 1 and 7, for example, have the sole purpose of allowing the person controlling them to have better information about their opponent, hence their elongated shape, which allows them to control several "straights". They don't have cliffs so you can easily disembark.

You can also see a square that surrounds the central island which is quite interesting in the game:

-On each island in the corner of the square there is a resource pool set back which will make it vunerable against your enemy neighbour. Both beaches are easily accessible for both players facing that island but not for those coming from the middle of the map.

-The other 8 small islands are just there to get information because they are close enough to control part of "straits" and far enough away so that you can't shoot at the neighbouring island with your turrets.

how i can see the thumbnail of this map ? It shows only ">max" and so i don't can set the teams, start points, colors, etc.
