Solasta Crown of the Magister is a great game and I'm thoroughly enjoying my experience so far!

I find the game gets difficult very early. Should be an easier mode for noobies. I am stuck in room getting to the Wizard. Where are hints or help?

I see. Nobody knows what the stats are doing... Like example whose check against what check. Wizards have wisdom, Dexterity and constitution check spells and the game check your strength to move object, not the object's resistance toward the strength and there's different rules for every stat. If it's simply cored in resistances there's 100% ZERO reason behind using spells based on a check you can't do anything to change
