How to unlock the Advanced Suit in Dead Space 3

Remember way back when we got our first look at Dead Space 3 and saw Isaac in the Advanced Suit from DS2? Well it turns out it's fully functioning in the game's files. Here's how to unlock it

Prerequisites

To get your hands on the Advanced Suit and unlock it for use, we'll need a few things first:

1. A save file that has progressed to at least the Roanoke portion of the game (any save after this point will work fine too)
2. Cheat Engine, a copy of this DS3 cheat table [fearlessrevolution.com] and the Dead_Space_3_ID.rar file from the same link

Unlocking the Suit

First things first, launch Dead Space 3. Next open the cheat table and attach it to your Dead Space 3 process (click the flashing computer icon, select your DS3 process and click open. If you see a window pop up about the address list, click yes). Check the box that says 'suit info' and you should see three new lines, Suit, ID AoB and ID String. Now load your save file to a point where you can move around and tab back over to cheat engine. The 'Suit' line should now have a bunch of alphanumeric characters in it, this corresponds to your currently equipped suit. Double click on it and you should see a 'change' window pop up. From here copy the Advanced Suit's ID (A5 C0 CA 39 87 D4 6E 68 48 55 41 4E 47 31 34 38) into the box. Now simply reload your save and the Advanced Suit should now be equipped and unlocked at the suit kiosk.

The Dead_Space_3_ID.txt file has the ID listing for every suit in the game, so you can use this method to unlock any suit you want. Keep in mind most suits have two ID's, one for Isaac and one for Carver. It one doesn't work, try the other (the Advanced Suit is an exception, it has a damaged variant which is currently broken, causing Isaac to be headless). The suit will apply in coop too, so you can show off your shiny new Advanced Suit to all your friends

I've poured in 70 hours of ds3 in new game+, i pasted the Advanced suit ID, A5 C0 CA 39 87 D4 6E 68 48 55 41 4E 47 31 34 38, into the Suit box. Now i see KWON0657 on the ID string, Now i saw that my classic save file has been corrupted. And I didn't get the advanced suit.
Did I do something wrong? I don't want another save file to be corrupted so I don't need to have so much back pain.

ok after selecting a chapter before roanoke portion of the game i was able to make the save usable but no suit unfortunately

this for me has done nothing but made my save unplayable, loading the save just presents me with an image of a debris field in space. what do?

Yeah same thing happened to me with frames, doesn't matter tho since SCAF and Earth-Gov frames are the best

That's good to know, I've been being cautious by playing in Offline Mode on Origin and Steam just to be safe. Anyways, anyone else try to apply a frame using CE and it applies to the weapon, but then Isaac doesn't do the animation then when you save and reload, it goes back to whatever frame you had on previously? (i.e. I applied the Heavy Supercharged MK-V frame to my weapon, then saved and reloaded, but when I went to modify my weapon again, it had the normal Heavy Elite frame on)

They're perfectly safe to use in co-op, same deal with the weapon parts. DS3 actually has no anti-cheat to my knowledge

Is it safe to use the DLC suits or even get them through this method if you want to play online? (meaning like somehow the game/anti-cheat/Origin recognizes that you have them without purchasing the corresponding DLC. same with the weapons?)

Already tried and everything works nicely, got myself the witness suit, marauder suit, evangelizer shotgun and MK-V disfraction torus.

The only thing i had a small problem with was the weapon table, had to open the script and change the line 21 which is:
nop 3

into:
nop
nop
nop

After that the thing started working just right
