Description
What this mod does:
Adds four new villages to the Shek Kingdom. Each village contains 1 bar and several residential homes to house all those homeless Shek running around. There are also several small shacks and storm houses for the player to purchase and rebuild. And each village has a step house and bug house that is not destroyed for the player to buy and start building inside of right away. The villages are all located in the Stenn Desert zone around Admag as seen in the thumbnail picture. I have also added a new map item to the village bars as well as the adventure shops that show the locations of the Shek towns and villages.

The new villages added are:
  • Bargam
  • Erdos
  • Gash
  • Igmar

There may be some issues that haven't been found in my testing so far. Please be kind and tell me what they are if you run into any. I do check comments regularly and will correct anything that is brought to my attention. I don't currently have plans on adding any more villages to the Shek Kingdom, but I am open to suggestion and will add more if a suitable location is pointed out and people want more.

Incompatible with Treadlightly77's Universal Wasteland Expansion and Minor Factions Amplified mods. This can't be fixed with a patch. Two of my villages are in the same spot as towns in his mod.

Please, can someone tell me which 2 of the 4 new villages this mod adds are in the same spot as towns in UWE?

I don't know. I never played with Genesis. Nobody has said anything about it being incompatible so far and this was released in October of 2020. Try it out and see. If they didn't add any towns in the same 4 spots as I did then it should be okay. I did post a screenshot of the map with the locations of the added towns. So if you happen to know the map around the shek region on genesis then you should be able to just look at the map and see.

Hello! Is this mod compatible with Genesis?

This will be a fine addition to my collection...

But genuinely, this is exactly what the doctor ordered. I always dread having to do a return to Admag because the inbetween from the Hub to there is so boring. This might add some much needed culture to them.

I wonder if some of the more 'butchery' assets the cannibals use would blend in without looking too off? Sort of implying that Shek are far more likely to go hunt a beak thing for dinner, than they are to attempt to raise any livestock themselves.

I might experiment with my FCS and report back my findings.

Thanks! It feels less empty thanks to you :-)

@gort there are no world states tied to these villages so they remain unchanged no matter what happens in the world around them. I have no plans currently to add that in either. But if I were to get heavy into modding this game again and start updating my old mods I'll think about making that a project. But as I said, there are no plans for this any time soon.

What happens to these villages when town overrides happen? when Esata kicks the bucket for example, does the governship go to other factions or villages get destroyed?

@chryssjanzonio as far as I know they do not have any conflicts. But I have never played with Genesis nor do I intend to. But as far as I know, nothing in that mod is in the same location as the villages I added here. So go ahead and give it a shot. If you notice any problems, please let me know here so I can update the description.
