Dead Men Tell No Tales - World Seed with Chest location

The guide contains World Seed and the Dead Man's Chest location (screenshots and coordinates). This will help you to get the "Dead Men Tell No Tales" achievement. [Works with patch 1.4.4.9]

Introduction

Hello!
This guide contains World Seed that will help you to easily find the Dead Man's Chest and get the "Dead Men Tell No Tales" achievement.
Screenshots with location (and coordinates) are also included.

In order to get the achievement, you have to try to open the Dead Man's Chest like any other chest and then die within 10 seconds. When you try to open the chest, it will trigger all traps around and that should kill you instantly. ACHIEVEMENT WORKS ONLY IN SINGLE MODE.

How to use the World Seed

The World Seed works for both Classic and Journey mode (I use Journey as an example in screenshots)

Create a new world and click on the "Seed" area. This will open a window, where you can type the seed.



Copy this seed: 1.4.1.1727315148
Paste it here and click "Submit":



All in all, it should look like this:


Click on "Create" button.

Where to find the Dead Man's Chest

Once you create the world and enter it, you will want to start looking for the chest.

The exact coordinates for the chest location are:
154' East
158' Underground

Here is the location of the Dead Man's Chest on a map:

Get to the "room" and try to open the chest. Remember that your character has to die within the next 10 seconds (and will most likely die the moment you try to open the chest). Achievement should pop-up immediately after death.

handy since when i saw one of those chests in my own natural playthrough, i saw the traps and disabled them without realizing it was an achievement thing XD worked like a charm!

They added this achievement on May 16, 2020, so not that long ago, don't beat yourself up, it's okay to accomplish things at your own pace :)

I had to dig a bit to find the place

find a lake and drown yourself if your HP are too high and u think you wont die by the chest
