How to hatch Chao Eggs

The egg will hatch naturally after a while. You can also help the egg to hatch.

There are 3 ways to do this:

1) Waiting:
Your Chao egg will hatch naturally after a while, even with no interaction from you. Simply leave the egg alone and it will hatch by itself after a few minutes.
Your Chao’s facial expression and personality is decided when the egg is first formed.

2) Shaking:
Shaking the egg is the most common way of hatching Chao. Pick up the egg using the action button, and while still holding the button down, move the stick or directional keys side to side to shake it. After 5 secs or so, put the eggs on the ground and ut should hatch shortly after.




3)Throwing/Yeeting the egg:
If you just gotta go fast and have no time for Chao just yeet the egg to break it open. Yeah, I'm serious, just throw it. Your Chao will be displeased, though. Pick up the egg by pressing the action button, and then throw it by pressing the action button again while moving. If you throw the egg into an open space it will not break open - you will need to throw it against a wall.
