How to counter the Tank

Has the tank bullied you? have you had enough of it? well this is the place to be as i have two strategies that may help you get rid of this pest

Intro

The tank is a powerful unit at first it can seem impossible to take down but is it really?

Tank's strengths and weaknesses

strengths:

can run over large groups of units

does a stupid amount of damage with just running

the shot is very powerful and has AoE


Weaknesses

The shot is very inaccurate

fast units can dodge the shot really easily

high damage units will tear this thing apart

Strat #1

Alright enough chit chat lets get in to how counter this pest

strategy #1 "Pain From Range"

high damage units and fast moving units are great at killing it well a 3 ballistae can destroy it in one volley ( as long as it hits )

"but the tank can just run up and destroy them all"

well yes but actually no as long as you have cheap fodder units you can distract it long enough for them to wind up

peasants and halflings are the best at this (painters only work if ballistae are far away)

you wanna have the peasants close but no close enough for the shot just kill em all in one hit

this is so the tank can stay more or less in one spot so the ballistae can aim easier

Strat #2

Strat #2 the horse is the answer


!Disclaimer! this strat connot be used in the legacy campaign as it incorporates legacy units!

Put down one peasant to the left this will bait out a shot and cause the tank to miss

you need 1 chariot preferably away from the peasant once the shot hits or misses the peasant the chariot will kill the tank

THIS STRAT IS INCONSISTENT AND WILL NOT ALWAYS WORK

Other good units too use

Archer spam
any archer works

deadeye
smaller ballista but does less damage

ice giant
if you can one it will be able to kill the tank solo

this guide is very basic and bare bones so there may be other strats that are better than mine put them in the comments and i may share them in this guide (with permission of course)

bro just use one of those super long spear ladies, (will one shot) if they get in range without the tank shooting they will stab it and it will die, also only 300 spend points and is in the legacy faction. -thisishowwedoit;()
