Formation Tricks

BEFORE YOU USE THIS, REPLACE ALL "()" With "[]" OTHERWISE IT WILL NOT WORK

(h1) Heading (/h1) Will Turn in to

"heading"

(b) Fat (/b) Will Turn in to

Fat

(u) underlined (/u) Will Turn in to

"underlined"

(i) Italic (/i) Will Turn in to Italic

(spoiler) Spoilertext (/spoiler) Turn in to Spoilertext

You close the brackets. For an example: [h1] This will be a header. [/h1] This is no longer a header.

Maybe you missed it, but you can use [noparse], so you can avoid having to do that bracket swap

Sorry, I just checked and apparently this button doesn't appear when you're editing a workshop item. All of the same formatting rules for editing a guide should apply to editing a workshop item though. Inconsistent UI design on Valve's part

While editing a section of a guide there are some buttons above the text entry box. The button you're looking for is labelled "Formatting Help".
