New event and world condition:
The main addition of this mod lies in the bloodmoon rising event, which causes a bloodmoon world condition. During a bloodmoon avatars of Hircine, rare albino deer, will spawn around the map. Successfully hunting these will reward you with a totem, which a pawn can activate to level up the corresponding gift of Hircine. Hircine will also periodically mark animals, which he expects you to hunt in his name. Sucessfully killing one within the time limit will cause some drop pods to fall from the sky.

Of course, during a bloodmoon you will not be the only hunter. Werewolf hunting groups will periodically spawn, their only task is to hunt down all living colonists. Attacks from these dangerous beasts may inflict sanies lupinus, a rare disease that seems almost harmless. If left long enough the disease will transition into dormant lycanthropy, which will be activated at the start of the next bloodmoon, permanently turning the pawn into a rabid werewolf.

New Storyteller:
This mod also adds in a new storyteller, Hircine, lord of the hunt. Hircine wants you to prove yourself a worthy hunter, he will isolate you from all allies, no one will aid you in times of need. Trade caravans are significantly less common, whilst minor threats are more common. The bloodmoon will occur on a consistent cycle. You will also be forced to deal with all of this with a halved population limit.

Additional content:
  • Werewolf trophies can be constructed at the art table using a werewolf corpse. These can be used as morbid meditation sources, or as alternatives to sculptures.
  • Psychic shifter lance, which can be obtained as a quest reward. An archotech utility item that instantly transforms the targeted pawn into a rabid werewolf.
  • Lycanthropic elixirs. These are made from werewolf blood, obtained by butchering werewolves. They can be consumed to remove or modify dormant lycanthropy, though they have potential side effects that you should prepare for.
  • Wolfsbane elixirs. These are made using a new extract, harvested from the wolfsbane plant. Consuming one will provide the pawn some extra defence from Hircine's hounds.
  • New Hunters weapons can be crafted, though require materials only a worthy hunter can obtain. These deal 50% increased damage to wild animals, and werewolves.
  • Create the totem of the hunter, a very expensive totem that forms, or upgrades, a psylink.

Contains patches for:
  • Genetic Rim - Werewolves give wolf genetic materials.
  • MorrowRim - Werewolves and Avatar of Hircine are resistant to ash storms.
  • Rim of Madness - Werewolves / (Continued) - An extra elixir that can give a pawn the werewolf trait, and interaction with the ROM werewolves.

Separate patches:

Adding mid-save:
While you can add this mod mid-save, you will need to follow these instructions completely. Make sure you have the Vanilla Expanded Framework enabled, then, when prompted upon loading a save, make sure to generate the Hounds of Hircine faction. This is a hidden faction, and as such has no settlements, but it is required for the werewolf packs to function.

Notes:
  • Having a pawn turn into a werewolf is BAD, you don't want it to happen.
  • Bloodmoon events (werewolves spawning and such) will only occur on one map at a time, chosen randomly from all active maps.
  • The difficulty of the bloodmoon will scale with the current threat points, and can be further customised in the mod settings menu.
  • Bloodmoons will not occur for other storytellers by default, this can be changed in the mod settings menu.
  • As the bloodmoon is a game condition the starting scenario may be edited to make it permanent.
  • Probably works with CE

  • Based on the game by Bethesda Game Studios: 'The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind'.
  • Big thanks to the testers on the ESCP Discord, and anyone who left feedback in the Steam comments.
