Report a translation problem
The key part is actually just that if you kill him, its plus 4 levels, which makes the run a lot trickier. I've died to shopkeepers multiple times, but its still better then just having him angry at you forever.
Oh yeah, and also once you kill him a certain amount of times, you can't get forgiven, and they also set up these fortress things, (really just like outposts) that can lead to your death because there's like four of them in every one.
