Description
NOTE: Even if the game says the mod is out-of-date, the mod still works! Just ignore the warning and enjoy the mod.

Update: Added the ability to choose when you want exclave independence to take place. Also added alerts for counties that will become independent due to exclave independence.

This mod allows you to set the distance at which oversea exclaves become independent. You can do this through a new game rule option called "Max Exclave Naval Distance" that can be set before you begin a new campaign.

I also modified the exclave independence code to work even if a ruler is at war, as in vanilla, if a ruler was at war it would simply skip exclave independence. I feel like this is a really big oversight on paradox's part since depending on how aggressive the AI is set to, you could potentially have realms that are supposed to get split up but don't for 100s of years simply because they coincidentally were at war when succession took place.

All of this causes there be much less bordergore, as pieces of realms wont be dotted all over the place on the map!

This mod was purposefully made to be as compatible as possible with other mods, so there should be no problems with compatibility unless a different mod is also messing with the Exclave Independence code.

I just had something weird happen which I assume is related to this mod. Exclave independence just triggered, but when my liege won a war against a peasant revolt. There was no change of ruler. I assume that shouldn't happen.

I did add this to a save game though, so I don't know if that may have had some odd interaction. I don't believe I have any other mods that modify the same files.

Great mod. Would be nice if you could adjust the settings seperately for players and AI. Mostly the naval distance setting would be nice to have seperate values.
