Description
Cops don't rat on cops. It's as simple as that. Take care of your own, and they'll take care of you. That is the unspoken rule of being a police officer. This isn't to say that all cops are dirty. But when one is found to be dirty, it is handled internally. The public doesn't need to know.


What this mod does:

This mod adds (so far, more coming):

- Four game starts:
  • One called Dirty Cop. You have maxed relations with United Cities and Police. And you have 25 relations with Outlaws, Yabuta Outlaws, Dust Bandits, Gorillo Bandits, and Black Dog. You start with 5000 cats (subject to change) and a set of custom Police armor, colored black.

  • One called The Only Good Cop. Maxed relations with United Cities and Police. And -100 relations with all the same outlaw groups as the Dirty Cop has 25 relations with. Same starting cats as the other starts. And a white variant of the police uniform.

  • One called Good Cop, Bad Cop. Maxed relations with United Cities and Police again. But completely neutral with the outlaw groups. Has one cop with the white uniform and one with the black uniform. Also 5000 cats to start with.

  • One called Blue Wall of Silence. You start out with a police chief, 2 sergents, and 7 patrol officers. Same relations with the factions as the Police faction has.
- 12 new pieces of armor using vanilla assets that have been tweaked for color. Some minor stat adjustments were made as well but those are subject to change over the coming days. The word POLICE has been added to the chest piece, and UCPD has been added to the helmet now too. All the new gear is purchaseable from the white uniformed police chiefs inside UC town police stations when you ask if they have any confiscated goods to sell.

- All United Cities police have had their uniforms switched to the new blue uniforms, except the Chief and Sergent who have white and black versions respectively.


Plans for the near future:
  • Custom dialogue for both the good cop and the bad cop
  • Some adjusting of starting character stats.
  • More adjusting of equipment stats depending on user feedback.


***NOTICE*** If you only want the United Cities police uniforms changed to the blue ones from this mod and don't care about the rest of the changes you can use my Replace Police Uniforms mod found HERE.

Updated to version 5. Changes are:

- Lots of little adjustments to the stats of the new police uniform gear.
- Uniform gear now buyable from the white uniformed chief in police stations in the UC.
- New start with 10 characters.
- Minor adjustments to the faction relations for the Only Good Cop start.

Custom dialogue will be added in the next update for sure. Probably only going to do the dialogue for one character per update because it's a lot of work. I might surprise you and do two though. We'll see.

Updated. All UC police now have blue uniforms with the exception of the captains and seargents who wear white and black respectively. Also changed starting towns of two of the starts. More tweaks to the uniform coming soon. Also going to start working on the dialogue soon.

Updated. The armor now has POLICE written on the chest piece and UCPD on the sides of the helmet. It's not as good as I wanted it to be but I am not as good at image editing as I wanted to be either. So it'll have to do for now. Next step is tweaking the stats of the new armor slightly to differentiate it from the vanilla armor that it was copied from. Then I'll probably add in some blue armor but not put it on anybody just yet. I want to focus on doing some custom dialogue for the good cop and bad cop first before I do that. The blue armor will just be in the files until I get ready to put it on some characters.

@Antarctic_one I'll probably do that then. First I want to have the word POLICE across the chest piece though. I might work on doing that tonight but I have a few other mods that I'm working on simultaneously so it might not make it into my schedule for tonight. We'll see.

I think it would be really cool if you did make a blue replacer mod for the regular police.
