That and its horrendous accuracy (fires around targets within spitting distance, makes "sniping" enemies 10 feet away impossible) and how much the characters try using the club instead when in the short range. I'm assuming that the slow reload time is due to the low skill of the characters.
Other than the weird tubes on the side that clip into the guns, I enjoy the model of the regular harpoon gun though it lacking a visual difference between loaded and unloaded even with something small like the charging handle going back is saddening.
