Someone please make a conquest of the New World total conversion using this map (pref. with a start date a good deal before 1492 so we could have fun assembling the Aztec and Inca Empires if we wanted to or even do the whole Vinland thing), would add so much to the game and I would be eternally thankful

An American Conversion mod sounds great.

There's a few problems with that though, most people have a completely inaccurate idea of the History of America or history of Quetzalcoatla, as America is named after the native God Amaruca, as is Amerigo Vespuci, as he named himself after America, not the other way around.
And thats just the surface level stuff.

The countless Scandinavian runes all over North AND South America.
The presence of Carthaginian/Phoenician artifacts in America, and Michigan.
The stories of "redheaded giants" ruling the land among Natives is as common as the Flood Myth.
The Basque people's language had what was called "mutual intelligibility," an innate ability to understand eachother, among a good portion of the Native languages, leading to a small Basque Kingdom in Calabasas before the Bandit Lords death.
Many Egyptian mummies, were found to have cocaine in their systems. Something that would have to come from South America, meaning there was trade.

cool mod , well if i was able to create mods i would create a fallout-style mod like in ck2 (after the end)

@Tricericon what kind of project are you working on? I was thinking of getting people together to start a mod on pre-colombian America but I'm trying to figure out if someone is already working on this concept and if I should join them
