Hi! For this guide, I will be showing a simple installation of FOSE and an additional launcher Options that allowed you to keep track & time of your gameplay for the game. Oh yeah, one more thing, you need to install UNOFFICIAL FALLOUT 3 PATCH first. For English language, I recommend to look on other guides that I had followed in the past to make the game bloody work, or follow this guide by BenWah, or this guide by goldeNspiriT under STEP 4. This guide I put is a necessary component to automatically add ArchiveValidation and additional bug fixes.

Hi! Untuk panduan ini, saya akan membantu melakukan instalasi FOSE dan tambahan launcher untuk bisa melihat berapa lama/waktu saat menjalankan FOSE di FO3. WHAT IS FOSE? / APA ITU FOSE?

Created by by Ian Patterson (ianpatt), Stephen Abel (behippo), and Paul Connelly (scruggsywuggsy the ferret), The Fallout Script Extender, or FOSE for short, is a modder's resource that expands the scripting capabilities of Fallout 3. It does so without modifying the Fallout3.exe or the G.E.C.K. files on disk, so there are no permanent side effects.

FALLOUT LAUNCHER REPLACER FOR STEAM

ENGLISH:
Created by AlexEG, This is an replacement launcher for the default Fallout 3 Launcher (FalloutLauncher.exe) that is meant to be used together with Steam. If you don't have the Steam version this is pretty much useless for you.

It will allow you to launch Fallout with FOSE or through Mod Organizer while still allowing Steam features such as the overlay (SHIFT+TAB), game time tracking, streaming, etc. You can also launch the default launcher if needed.

Note: This will NOT fix overlay in any way. If you don't already have a working overlay using the normal Fallout 3 launcher, through Steam, this wont fix that (most likely). This launcher works pretty much the same way if you would've replaced the FalloutLauncher.exe with FOSE or Mod Organizer directly. This is just meant to make it so that you don't have to move the executables around all the time in case you need to change something (Graphics settings etc...).

If you're having issues with Steam overlay (i.e. not appearing), make sure ALL applications (Steam, Fallout 3, FOSE/MO, etc...) is running with the same privileges, either as normal or administrator. Miss-matching this might be interfering with the overlay hooking into the game process.

Dibuat oleh AlexEG, Ini adalah penganti aplikasi/launcher default Fallout 3 Launcher (FalloutLauncher.exe) yang bisa menjalankan untuk Steam dan digunakan bersama-sama untuk Steam. Kalau anda tidak memainkan Fallout dengan Steam (melalui versi kaset/disc), panduan ini bukan untuk anda dan tidak perlu diikuti.

Launcher ini memperbolehkan program Fallout dengan FOSE atau melalui Mod Organizer dengan memperbolehkan Steam memunculkan fitur seperti overlay (SHIFT+TAB), waktu game, streaming, dll. Anda juga bisa meluncurkan Fallout 3 dengan launcher yang default jika mau.

Note: Secara simple dari bahasa inggris, INI TIDAK MUNGKIN BERFUNGSI JIKA COMPATIBILITY diutak-atik seperti mengatur ke versi XP. Pastikan aplikasi berjalan sesuai dan tidak diubah.

HOW TO INSTALL FOSE & LAUNCHER REPLACER / CARA INSTALASI

ENGLISH:
1) After FOSE & LAUNCHER REPLACER is finished downloading, If you're using 7ZIP, Extract the files to the downloaded folder, but if you are using WinRAR, you don't have to.
2) Open your Steam >> Click Fallout 3 - Game of the Year Edition >> Right Click >> Manage >> Browse Local Files.
3) Edit/Rename FalloutLauncher.Exe by adding this FalloutLauncher_ORG.exe and Enter to allow the FO Steam Replacer Launcher to recognized the game files/launcher.
4) Highlight & Drag all the content that is extracted/in WinRAR to the game folder and when it ask you to Overwrite or change it, Just click Yes and you're done!5) Launched the fose_loader.exe
6) Once you're in the Main Menu, open console command by typing/hit [~] and type this: getfoseversion >> Enter. It will displayed the version you're using (EXAMPLE: FOSE: version 1. If it didn't show, you probably installed it incorrectly or DID NOT LAUNCH IT THROUGH THE FOSE. If it shows, it works. You can now play with the FOSE.
6) If you wanna play the Vanilla Fallout 3 along with the FOSE by tracking your time in Overlay, Go to your Steam Client and Play Fallout 3. It will look like this:
7) Type which number you wanna play and you're done.
8) If you still want to check on FOSE, type the number order on the Command and Once you're in the Main Menu, open console command by typing/hit [~] and type this: getfoseversion >> Enter. Remember, if it doesn't displayed the number, you either installed it incorrectly or DID NOT LAUNCH IT THROUGH THE FOSE. If it shows, it works.

IMPORTANT!:
DO NOT OVERWRITE THE VANILLA SAVE FILES WITH FOSE or OTHERWISE. IT WILL CORRUPT YOUR SAVE FILES LIKE A MOTHERF@#KER AND CRASHED YOUR GAME!

ALSO: DO NOT PLAY FOSE SAVE FILE ON VANILLA GAME AND DON'T PLAY FOSE WITH VANILLA SAVE FILES! IT WILL CRASH TOO LIKE A MOTHERF@#KER!

INDONESIAN:
1) Setelah FOSE & LAUNCHER REPLACER selesai terunduh, Jika anda menggunakan 7ZIP, Extract/keluarkan file yang diunduh ke folder, Tapi jika anda menggunakan WinRAR, anda mungkin tidak perlu.
2) Buka Steam >> Klick Fallout 3 - Game of the Year Edition >> Klick kanan >> Manage >> Browse Local Files.
3) Edit/ubah nama FalloutLauncher.Exe menjadi FalloutLauncher_ORG.exe dan Enter Untuk Steam Launcher Replacer dan FOSE berjalan.
4) Pilih semua & urut file yand di extract/dalam WinRAR dan pindah ke folder game dan jika ditanyakan akan mengubah/perbarui file, Pilih saja Yes dan anda selesai!5) Jalankan fose_loader.exe
6) Setelah Main Menu, buka console command dengan menekan [~] dan type ini: getfoseversion >> lalu Enter. Ini akan menampilkan versi yang diggunakan (CONTOH: FOSE: version 1. Jika tidak muncul, anda mungkin tidak menginstal secara benar atay TIDAK MELUNCURKAN/MEMBUKA MELALUI FOSEI. Jika muncul, itu artinya berfungsi. Sekarang anda bisa memainkan dengan versi FOSE.
6) Jika anda ingin bermain Fallout 3 secara biasa tapi ingin melihat FOSE dengan mengetauhui jam dari Overlay, Jalankan dengan Steam Client and Play Fallout 3. Akan terlihat seperti ini:
7) Pilih nomor yang ingin dimainkan dan selesai.
8) Jika anda kurang yakin dengan pengecekan FOSE dari client, type nomor berapa urutan FOSE. Setelah sampai di Menu, buka console command by typing/hit [~] and dengan menekan [~] dan type ini: getfoseversion >> lalu Enter. Ini akan menampilkan versi yang diggunakan (CONTOH: FOSE: version 1. Jika tidak muncul, anda mungkin tidak menginstal secara benar atay TIDAK MELUNCURKAN/MEMBUKA MELALUI FOSEI. Jika muncul, itu artinya berfungsi.

PENTING:
JANGAN MENCAMPUR SAVE FILE FOSE DENGAN VERSI VANILLA, INI AKAN MENGAKIBATKAN SAVE FILE KORUPT DAN AKEN MEYEBABKAN CRASH!

TAMBAHAN: JANGAN BERMAIN SAVE FILE FOSE DI VERSI VANILLA DAN JANGAN BERMAIN SAVE FILE VANILLA DI FOSE KARENA INI JUGA AKAN MENYEBABKAN CRASH/ERROR!
