Matchbox Empires (1-4 Player Setup)

Matchbox Empires is a pre-kickstarter 'living board game' that has been in development for the last couple of years. It is a strategic city building and resource management civilisation style game where players get to create their own fully isometric 3D city.

One of the first of its kind to use a unique fog of war effect where players need to Explore, Build, Fight & Survive! Easy to learn in as little as 20 minutes but oozing with tactical decision making. Victory is based around probability so it is never too late to win which will keep players hooked until the very end! A 2 player games takes approx 1.5-2 hours (+0.5hr per additional player). It can be played all vs all or in teams.

The physical edition will feature a 10 mission single player campaign and enough components for 2 players but base sets can be combined to suit an open ended player cap. There are already a few expansion packs in the works which will allow players to further customise their game by adding their own choice of units, new game modules and other asymmetric races.
