The best way to collect souls for beginners is use troops like Avina (story) and/or weapon with +4 souls at level +8 or Soul Blade for the main deck, in this way you collect souls by the way.

Yep, I have much better/faster teams for soul-farming now, but this is a good alternative for those who don't have the Phylactery or a lot of troops traited with Necromancy.

I don't have the $50 armor. That's the Dragon Armor you can see, which you can buy with gems. As mentioned above, I was using the Celestial Armor during the video (you can have your avatar wearing one armor and be using another), which is also bought with gems.
