SWTOR Datacrons - BALMORRA (Empire)

Here is a step-by-step guide for locating the SWTOR datacrons for the Empire. The SWTOR Datacrons Balmorra video is also included along with a fully detailed written tutorial. There are a total of 5 datacrons to collect on Balmorra which are 4x Mastery +2 and a Green Matrix Shard. All of the Balmorra datacron locations are very easy to find, however one datacron requires another player and another requires that you purchase a Lost Code Cylinder from a Junk Dealer in Bugtown.

Mastery +2 (Light Blue)

Upon entering the Okara Droid Factory head to an elevator on the far west of the main level. Take the elevator descending down to the second level of the facility to the Assembly Line. Within this area look to your right and you will see an assembly line with droids being constructed. Jump onto the second nearest conveyor, then down onto to floor beneath it. Inside the conveyor is an opening to a shaft that drops down onto a pipe with the datacron.

Mastery +2 (Red)

Begin at Sundari Imperial Outpost and head southwest across the large bridge into Gorinth Canyon. After crossing look left at the rock formations until you see a lower area you can jump over. Follow the rock formation until you see a opening slightly right and continue following it until it reveals a hidden open area. The datacron is towards the end of this open area to the right.

Mastery +2 (Orange)

Begin at Sundari Imperial Outpost and travel northeast towards the Balmorran Arms Factory. Enter the facility then head north towards an elevator which will take you up to the second level. Exit the facility and you will see a shoreline and Republic ships docked in the area. Make your way to the shoreline until you come to a landing pad to the left with a Republic shuttle on top. The datacron is directly underneath.

Mastery +2 (Purple)

Upon travelling to Bugtown, jump down into the lake and head east to the <Junk Dealer> vendor. Purchase the Lost Code Cylinder for 5k credits. Head back towards the speeder and from there travel north towards a damage bridge. The bridge is not crossable and you will need to travel underneath to the far north-side of the bridge until you see a path leading up to it. Open the Space Chest and it will remain open for others to access the datacron. The chest will stay open for 3 minutes.

Green Matrix Shard

Begin at the Sobrik Spaceport travelling south out of Sobrik. Then travel southwest through the Gorinth Canyon until you see a guarded underground facility. Kill the guards and proceed to the lower second level. The next step will require another player to help. Both players must press each console on each side of the wall at the same time to lower the force field with the datacron inside.
