How to increase TRUST FACTOR in CSGO

Introduction

CSGO has a matchmaking system which takes into account your behaviour across Steam and not just in CSGO.

Valve's new system assigns every player a hidden value, known as their Trust Factor. This score is derived from how you have played CS:GO, whether you have had reports lodged against you for cheating and also your activities in other Steam games.

There are several factors that can affect your trust factor in CSGO on which i will elaborate in details.

How to know what is your Trust Factor.

Trust Factor is a value assigned to each prime players on CSGO. However this value is invisible to players. You can never know the values of Trust Factor you have.

The values are invisible but you can know where you are situated. Valve has enabled players to know what their Trust is by categorizing them in 3 categories. There is the green, yellow and red category.

The best way to check if you have a good trust or not, is to join a lobby with your friends and search for a competitive match. Once you started the search a message will be displayed in the chat lobby as follows:

"Your matchmaking experience will be significantly affected because the Trust Factor of *friends name* is substantially lower than yours."

This is where the categories come in place.(Red and Yellow)

If all of you have got the same amount of trust no message will be displayed. If you see that you get no message that does not mean you all have green trust factor. It can be possible you all have red or yellow.

How do you get Low Trust in CSGO.

Low Trust Factor, or RED category trust can be obtained in many ways. Having a low trust factor is not of much concern as Trust Factor varies over time.

Things you do to get low Trust in Match Making:

• If you team Kill
  
• If you are kicking Team Mates for no reason very often
  
• If you are griefing
  
• Reporting players constantly even if they are not hacking
  
• Using abusive words and being toxic
  
• Having VAC Bans or Game Bans on alternate accounts with the same Email or Phone Number
  
  
  

How to get green Trust Facor.

Having a green Trust Factor gives you the best experience to play in Prime. Trust factor does not depend only about your behaviour in Match Making. Your trust factor is associated to your steam account as well.

The best way to get a good trust factor is being a positive member of the community. This includes various things that you should take into consideration.
The points are as follows:

• Increase your steam Level
  
• Do not play only CSGO on your account, play other games as well
  
• Be friendly and increase your friend list
  
• Join groups
  
• Put your name on your profile(You can put a nick or anything)
  
• Use Steam Authenticator and add your phone number
  
• Post screenshots in Games
  
• Read and Write reviews about games you play
  
• Complete all Steam Tasks to get the Community Leader Badge(As shown in picture below)
  
• Be a positive member of the Community
  
• Write Guides
  
• Be active in the community
