The Emerald City

You're off to see the Wizard! Welcome to the Emerald City, shining green beacon in the poppyfields of Oz. Here you will see all sorts of Wonders: Experience the twister that brought Dorothy to the Land of Oz. Ride a Horse of a Different Color. Pay a visit to Tick Tock's Windup Workshop. Meet Glinda the Good Witch of the North. Take a soaring ride aboard the Gump and see the Emerald skyline. Chase after the Wicked Witch of the West on "Fly, my Pretties!" and finally, get your tin polished, and your straw stuffing touched up, for your audience with the all-powerful Wizard of Oz! As your day in Oz draws to a close, we gather to bid farewell to the Wizard's balloon as he journeys back to the star named Kan-sas.

My recommendation for experiencing the park is to take a quick look around during the day. Ride "Fly My Pretties" during the day. And then spend the rest of your time in the park at night. For "Meet the Wizard" I recommend Seat 2 and riding at night. Finally, there is a short pyro and balloon show, which is triggered from the golden plinth at the base of the balloon platform in the central rotunda. Enjoy your visit to Oz!

This is my first finished park, and I'm so excited to share it with you all! The theme is inspired by the classic MGM movie as well as "Return to Oz". I went very eclectic with the architecture, and imagined Oz as a melting pot of time periods and global styles. Hope you enjoy!


TMTK used are listed at the side, but I really have to especially give credit to leafscott80's galaxy edge domes which are the most useful item I've ever subscribed to, and without which I couldn't have made this park nearly as easily. Also a big shoutout to Willibix's beautiful crystals, in this park playing the role of Emeralds.
