The Flapjack
The design of this item is a reference to the jacket worn by Shotaro Kaneda in the Japanese animated film Akira.















Neo Tokyo
Neo-Tokyo is the enormous metropolis where the entire Akira anime and manga series takes place in.

The War Paint also bears a striking resemblance to Shotaro Kaneda's bike.





Medical Mystery


This item is inspired by Kaisuke from the 1988 Japanese animated film Akira.













Astro Boy


Carrier Tanks
Carrier Tanks are enormous troop carriers that deliver robots in Mann vs. Machine.

The design of the Carrier Tanks resembles the Robot Disposal Car sent to capture Astro in the last third of the first episode of the 1980 Astro Boy TV anime.
Dragon Ball


Wise Whiskers
This item is a reference to the character Master Roshi, one of the core allies of the protagonist in Dragon Ball.

    The Seared Sorcerer
    This item is based on the Black Mage class as well as the character Vivi Ornitier from the video game series Final Fantasy.

    The Black Mage class is known for their destructive and mostly fire-based spells.

The item name is a reference to the Ghost in the Shell franchise.















JoJo's Bizarre Adventure


Starboard Crusader
The item is modeled after the iconic hat worn by Jotaro Kujo, the primary protagonist of Stardust Crusaders, the third part of the manga and anime series JoJo's Bizarre Adventure.

The second style of the hat is based on Jotaro Kujo's look from Diamond is Unbreakable, the fourth part of the series where he has become a marine biologist.

Tsar Platinum
The design of the item is a reference to the jacket worn by Jotaro Kujo, the primary protagonist of Stardust Crusaders, the third part of the manga and anime series JoJo's Bizarre Adventure.

The name of the item is a reference to Jotaro's Stand Star Platinum from the same series.

Skull Study
The Skull Study War Paint is a reference to Yoshikage Kira who wears a dark tie patterned by a column of skull emblems with upright, cat-like ears, similar to those on his Stand, Killer Queen.

Makai Senki Disgaea is an anime series based on the video game Disgaea: Hour of Darkness.

This item is based on Prinnies, that are the reincarnations of sinful humans' souls in the Disgaea series.














Prinny Pouch
This item is based on the pouches worn by the Prinnies from the Disgaea series.















The Prinny Machete
This item is modeled after the knife wielded by the Prinnies from the Disgaea series.
One-Punch Man


Punk's Pomp
The design of the item is a reference to the hairstyle of Metal Bat, a character from the Japanese superhero webcomic and anime series One-Punch Man.

Scout's stock melee weapon also happens to be a metal bat.











Two Punch Mann
The item's name is a reference to the One-Punch Man franchise.
Street Fighter


There have been several Street Fighter anime adaptions, including:
  • Street Fighter II: The Animated Movie, a 1994 theatrical film
  • Street Fighter II V, a 1995 television series

    Hadouken
    The Hadouken is named and modeled after the signature move of Ryu, the flagship character of Capcom's Street Fighter series of fighting games.









    The Team Captain
    The Team Captain bears a striking resemblance to the hat worn by the character M. Bison in the Street Fighter franchise.

    The description is a reference to a scene from the Street Fighter cartoon series, in which M. Bison revels in the defeat of the character Guile while exclaiming "YES! YES!"






































    Mo'Horn
    The hairstyle is based on the Street Fighter character Birdie.



    Fire Fighter
    The item's name itself is a reference to the Street Fighter series.

    The item also bears a striking resemblance to Ryu's spiky hair and signature red headband.

    This item has two styles, named "Ultra" and "Arcade." The "Ultra" style is a reference to the Ultra Street Fighter series, while the "Arcade" style references the Street Fighter arcade machines.
Miscellaneous
Hypno-Eyes
The texture for the lenses featured on the Shining style has a hidden message on it that reads "Anime isn't real!"

What about the Neo Tokyo warpaint? It resembles Kaneda's bike, even the name of the paint has Neo Tokyo on it's name, the place where the movie is set.
