A solution for those who encounter a locked door on the way to Relith Science HQ, although it could have been unlocked earlier.

Going to find the secrets of Relith Science HQ, you can stumble upon a locked door (although it may have been opened earlier). What to do? Let's go around and open it!

Solution

Let's go from the control room to the left to the side
Leviathan Reef, and then up towards Relith Science HQ.

I think I wasted an hour and a half trying to find the Relith Science HQ. Even using guides, no one mentions that they have to use that lever to release water. Thanks to kuratenshi for the tip in the comments. Here's the photo: https://imgur.com/a/5dDbas6

Additional information recommended. You have to full flood the large chamber on the left, by pulling the lever below the original exit of Leviathan Reef Base. After that, you can get through the passage as worms, and open the specified door.
