VF-25 Messiah / Macross Frontier Variable Fighter

The VF-25 Messiah is a Fighter aircraft that appears in the anime "Macross Frontier".
It is an aircraft that can be transformed into three, "Battroid mode" that transforms into a humanoid from "Fighter mode" that fights as a fighter, and "Gerwalk mode" that is the middle of the two.
This time, I was able to reproduce the transform up to Gerwalk mode and hovering .
The left and right thrust vectoring paddles operate in response to roll and pitch operations. It also functions as a toe and heel when in Gerwalk mode.
By the way, it is the same size as the anime setting.1/1
A gun pod is mounted in the center of the aircraft. 12 unguided missiles are mounted on the left and right wings.

　　　　　　　　

*Control in Gerwalk mode is not yet perfect. However, even if you release your hand, stable control is automatically performed for a short time.
*Be careful not to rub the engine on the ground during takeoff and landing. When Take off accelerating, it will surface without pulling the control stick.

1 Get in the cockpit. Before proceeding, it's a good idea to check all button positions and key layouts.

2 Turn on the avionics switch and beacon switch, and then turn on the fuel pump switch and engine auto start switch.

3 Ready for takeoff. Accelerate and take off.



-How to transform-
First, I will explain the conditions that can be transformed.
・The speed is below a certain level (the yellow indicator blinks)
・Throttle down
・There is a margin in altitude
If you press the transform button (1) without meeting all the conditions, the transformation may fail. There are no conditions when returning to fighter mode. Please be careful of the crash.
The engine stops during the transformation. It will restart when the transformation is complete. (If the lock is unstable after transformation, the engine will not start. You can sway the aircraft to fix it, but it is safer to try again after transforming to fighter mode.)

There are some tricks to maneuvering in Gerwalk mode. To be honest, maneuvering is difficult. However, please refrain from comments that criticize you for being unable to fly.



On rare occasions, the impact of retracting your foot may damage the aircraft. If you're worried, turn off damage.
