Description
IMPORTANT PLEASE READ BEFORE PLAYING:
  • This may or MAY NOT work in coop session as expected! (i tried sorry).
  • There's no playable character in this mod even though it says in the tags, this is due the hat restriction tool which replaces the hat_player class if you have a playable you will be forced into hat/bow kid, cannot uncheck this as the editor keeps detecting that there is, sorry again. :(
  • Uninstall this demo if you are about to try this mod, similar names would cause the files to conflict in the process and may cuz this level to bug out!

Introduction:
After being knocked out from the storm you landed on this island which has a weird room that you've decided to venture in, only to be trapped there!

You've been sent to a mysterious area where ice and fire collide into each other and surprisingly enough there's a time piece! What is this place? Why are you here? What do they want from you? Well it doesn't matter, there's a time piece to grab!

Explore, run, jump, break, climb and much more with this mod that tries to add some mechanics that aren't seen in the base game itself! Both for Ice and Fire!

6 acts which are made of: 4 main acts, a tutorial and a (easier bugless) Demo Act that was featured in the Challenge Road!

1 year in the making, released on the same date this project has been started, what a concidence!

Includes a Deathwish!

Requires
All hats except Dweller Hat.

This means both normal and casual are pretty much equalivent

It removes the timer, replaces the songs with a different variation (to resemble calm and chill), everything else is still normal, no "additionals" for beating it on lower difficulties.

@SamiSha thanks! I only have one more question. Are there any other changes it brings or just the timer?
SamiSha  [author] Mar 14, 2022 @ 9:07am
And yes, casual mode removes the time limit.

There's a difficulty selector in the lobby that removes the rushing part and allows you to freely play it like a normal purple rift!

Basically, interact with the shrine, either in the lobby when you enter the mod OR when you reach the ending area before the rush starts in Act 1, both works.

Then select "Casual Mode", it will transform to a Void Diamond (the same collectible) and the music for all levels are replaced.

In the DeathWish contract the difficulty selector regardless of choice will always be set to DW, for obvious reasons.

Hope this helps!

Is there a way to skip the time rift rush parts? I like to explore on my own pace more than just having a bit of time. I love the mod but once i get in the rush parts i don't know what to do. When i played it, i literally got to the finish multiple times but it kept on running out of time. In the demo and the first act. I love it, but i can't get any further this way

Great ideas, but it crashes at the end of the tutorial.

The rift balls after the demo work exactly as in the demo, they take 99 damage while having the power on, otherwise you have to break them manually.

Level 2-4 have power ups around that can be used or timed to exploit, some of them are intentionally hidden for exploration purposes.

Hardmode was reworked into a DeathWish, its named "All-Zones Run" where you have the beat the 3 levels in one run with multiple bonuses.
