Fantasy Class Guide
Lord Crungo 님이 작성
If your like me then you want to recreate stuff from Fantasy in this wonderful game, so here I am making a guide in the same manner of Lord Burger's Historical Class Guide (go check that out if you haven't, top tier work) this guide will most definitely not be the same quality as his but I am certainly going to try.

Overview
To be honest Mordhau is kind of extremely not fun so updates will be sporadic and random. They'll come whenever I enjoy the game again, but don't expect anything outside of one or two additions each time
Warhammer Fantasy
The Empire
For starters on this guide we've got The Empire. These are the main Human faction of Warhammer Fantasy, next to Bretonnia and Kislev. These guys were fun to make but expensive. Expensive is a theme here so if your poor this is gonna take a while.

Empire State Troop
The core of any Empire army, these men are well trained and fairly well equipped. There is a lot of variation in the uniforms and weapons so there's a lot of options. The sheer versatility makes these guys great on Frontlines and Invasion.

Equipment:
Head: Bretache
Neck: Nothing
Shoulders: Nothing
Chest: Padded Cuirass or Footsoldiers Cuirass
Arms: Landsknecht Arms or Tightened Gambeson
Hands: Nothing or Leather Gloves
Waist: Nothing or Short Gambeson Skirt(with Footsoldiers Cuirass)
Legs: Linen Hosen
Feet: Laced Boots, Townsman shoe, or Pointy Leather Shoes

Weapons:
Main: Bastard Sword, Short Spear, Spear, or Halberd
Secondary: Heater Shield (with sword or Short Spear)
Tertiary: Dagger or Bandages

Empire Crossbowmen
The ranged backbone of The Empire. Pretty much identical to standard troops except with ya know, crossbows. These guys are pretty good with the support role though they can be exposed with the lack of a Pavise shield.

Equipment:
Same as the State Troop

Weapons:
Main: Crossbow
Secondary: Shortsword or Arming Sword
Tertiary: Bandages

Empire Greatsworder
Elite soldiers of The Empire wielding Zweihanders. These are my personal favorite of The Empire. This loadout is best used as a frontliner and a damage dealer. It can be used in duels though the Zweihander can be slow.
javascript:InsertSelected()
Equipment:
Head: Sallet, Landsknecht Hat, Landsknecht Hat with Feather
Neck: Footsoldiers Gorget
Shoulders: Knights Pauldrons 1x2
Chest: Elizabethan Cuirass
Arms: Footsoldiers Arms
Hands: Crude Plate Gauntlets
Waist: Nothing
Legs: Landsknecht Legs
Feet: Townsman shoe

Weapons:
Main: Zweihander

Empire Flagallent
Insane religious fanatics who charge into battle with no regard for their own safety. Not very useful due to no armor, but they can be fun if you know how to dodge, also they are the cheapest to make. Silver linings?

Equipment:
Head: Nothing
Neck: Nothing
Shoulders: Nothing
Chest: Nothing
Arms: Nothing
Hands: Nothing
Waist: Nordic skirt or Wanderers Skirt
Legs: Workers shorts or Wanderers Shorts
Feet: Nothing

Weapons:
Main: Mace or Axe
Secondary: Mace or Axe
Tertiary: Nothing (or bandages if you have no faith in Sigmar)

Empire Knight
The elite cavalry knights of The Empire, not to be confused with the Reiksguard(They're coming, once I get a Plume). Well equipped and incredibly deadly shock troops. Best used when on a horse for true Knight cosplay. Capable on foot when used on Frontline or Invasion.

Equipment:
Head: Regular Armet or Italian Armet
Neck: Footsoldiers Gorget
Shoulders: Knights Pauldrons 2x2
Chest: Elizabethan Cuirass
Arms: Footsoldiers Arms
Hands: Gothic Gauntlets
Waist: Nothing
Legs: Gothic Leggings
Feet: Gothic Sabatons

Weapons:
Main: Lance if you can get one. Bastard Sword
Secondary: Heater Shield
Tertiary: Bandages

Empire Demigryph Knight
The best of the best cavalry The Empire offers. Unfortunately for us Mordhau players there aren't any Demigryphs in the game so horses will have to do. Mechanically basically the same as the Empire Knight, so I gave this class a Messer to change it up.

Equipment:
Head: Hounskull
Neck: Footsoldiers Gorget
Shoulders: Knights Pauldrons 3x3
Chest: Elizabethan Cuirass
Arms: Landsknecht Arms
Hands: Gothic Gauntlets
Waist: Nothing
Legs: Elizabethan Leggings
Feet: Gothic Sabatons

Weapons:
Main: Messer or Bastard Sword. Lance if you can get one
Secondary: Heater Shield
Tertiary: Nothing or Bandages

Empire Demigryph Knight, Halberd Variant
A slightly heavier version of the initial Demigryph Knight. I wasn't originally going to include this one but I decided to because of the armour changes. Slightly better than the first variant on horseback because of the Halberd.

Equipment:
Head: Sallet or German Sallet
Neck: Nothing
Shoulders: Knights Pauldrons 3x3
Chest: Elizabethan Cuirass
Arms: Landsknecht Arms
Hands: Gothic Gauntlets
Waist: Short Gambeson Skirt
Legs: Elizabethan Leggings
Feet: Gothic Sabatons

Weapons:
Main: Halberd
Secondary: Nothing
Tertiary: Nothing
Warhammer Fantasy Cont.
Bretonnia
The cavalry and peasantry guys. The next human faction of the list. These guys are incredibly Knight heavy and also rely on hordes of poorly equipped peasantry. Most of these guys are mechanically the same which is unfortunate, I tried to change them up a bit per knight but there's only so many variants of one handed sword and shield knights you can make. Aesthetically I think they turned out the best. Mechanically Crossroads is your friend in this section here for easy horse access.

Peasantry
Ironically one of the harder ones to make because of the strange uniforms they wear. The Bretonnians use them in expendable hordes, but unless you have a lot of friends thats not really an option. Mechanically they are fast and 100% expendable. Peasant perk is required so that could limit your options somewhat, mainly only good as a stalling force or as a meme build.

Equipment:
Head: Hood
Neck: Nothing
Shoulders: Nothing
Chest: Tunic
Arms: Nothing
Hands: Leather gloves or Nothing
Waist: Tunic
Legs: Workers shorts
Feet: Laced Boots

Weapons:
Main: Any Peasant perk Polearm

Peasant Archer
Just as hard to make as the regular peasants because of the weird uniforms. Mechanically it's pretty much just a fast archer. Pretty good on Frontline or Invasion because of the speed.

Equipment:
Same as the regular Peasantry

Weapons:
Main: Longbow
Secondary: Arming sword
Tertiary: Bandages or Nothing

Man At Arms
Incredibly versatile and expendable troops. These guys were hard to make but pretty inexpensive overall. Have better equipment then the regular Peasantry but are just as expendable. Mechanically they can fill just about any role with their versatile loadout, but personally I'd use the Empire Troop because of better armor.

Equipment:
Head: Kettle or Covered Flat Top
Neck: Padded Hood
Shoulders: Short Mantle
Chest: Gambeson
Arms: Long Sleeve Cloth
Hands: Leather Gloves or Nothing
Waist: Gambeson
Legs: Workers Shorts
Feet: Footsoldiers boots

Weapons:
Main: Spear, Billhook, or any one handed sword
Secondary: Heater Shield (with sword)
Tertiary: Bandages

Battle Pilgrim
More religious fanatics yay! These guys usually follow around a Grail Knight and they fight with complete abandon. Sometimes they lug around a Grail Relique which is a dead Grail Knight riding a skeletal horse, which I unfortunately can't recreate.

Equipment:
Head: Nothing
Neck: Gambeson collar open or Gambeson Collar
Shoulders: Nothing
Chest: Workers Shirt
Arms: Bracers
Hands: Workers Gloves or Wanderer's Gloves
Waist: Wanderers Skirt or Workers Skirt
Legs: Baggy pants
Feet: Footsoldiers Boots

Weapons:
Main: Arming Sword
Secondary: Kite Shield or Heater Shield w/ Jousting Skin
Tertiary: Bandages

Knights Errant
The first rung on the Knightly ladder. The Knights Errant are made up of hopeful young nobles hoping to prove themselves in battle. Lots of variation in the colors and symbols with these guys so you can make yours unique. This is also the start of very similar loadouts unfortunately. Mechanically they are best used with a lance and on Horseback.

Equipment:
Head: Hounskull or Klappviser
Neck: Aventail
Shoulders: Nothing
Chest: Tabard
Arms: Footsoldiers Arms
Hands: Hourglass Gauntlets
Waist: Tabard
Legs: Elizabethan Leggings
Feet: Gothic Sabatons

Weapons:
Main: Arming Sword, Lance if you find one
Secondary: Heater Shield
Tertiary: Bandages

Knight of the Realm
After a Knight Errant has proven themselves they become a Knight of the Realm. These guys are the second rung of the Knightly ladder. There is a ton of variation with the colors, shield patterns, and symbols. so have fun. Best used on a horse with a lance.

Equipment:
Head: Greathelm Cloak
Neck: Aventail
Shoulders: Nothing
Chest: Tabard
Arms: Veterans Cuffs
Hands: Hourglass Gauntlets
Waist: Tabard
Legs: Elizabethan Leggings
Feet: Gothic Sabatons

Weapons:
Main: Bastard Sword, Lance
Secondary: Heater Shield
Tertiary: Bandages

Questing Knight
Knights that leave the lands of Bretonnia behind in order to seek the fabled Lady of the Lake in order to become a lofty Grail Knight. Mechanically these guys are strong with their Zweihanders, however the lack of head protection will get you killed.

Equipment:
Head: Nothing
Neck: Nothing
Shoulders: Nothing
Chest: Tabard
Arms: Veterans Cuffs Plain
Hands: Hourglass Gauntlets
Waist: Tabard
Legs: Elizabethan Leggings
Feet: Gothic Sabatons

Weapons:
Main: Zweihander

Grail Knight
The top of the Knightly ladder. A Grail Knight is someone who found the Lady of the Lake and sipped from her Holy Grail, becoming a living saint and gaining supernatural power. Every Knight hopes to be one and every peasant looks up to them. There's a lot of variation with the color, so have fun. The one requirement is the white short mantle.

Equipment:
Head: Greathelm Cloak
Neck: Aventail
Shoulders: Short Mantle (to represent cape)
Chest: Tabard
Arms: Short Chainmail over Sleeve
Hands: Gothic Gauntlets
Waist: Tabard
Legs: Elizabethan Leggings
Feet: Gothic Sabatons

Weapons:
Main: Bastard Sword, Lance
Secondary: Heater Shield
Tertiary: Nothing

Grail Guardian
The Grail Guardians are the elite of the elite. They are Grail Knights who guard sacred relics left by The Lady of the Lake. They are complete fanatics in doing so, cutting down enemies with their flaming blades. I gave this guy a Messer to differentiate them from the Grail Knight

Equipment:
Head: Greathelm Cloak
Neck: Aventail
Shoulders: Short Mantle
Chest: Tabard
Arms: Veterans Cuffs
Hands: Hourglass Gauntlets
Waist: Tabard
Legs: Elizabethan Leggings
Feet: Gothic Sabatons

Weapons:
Main: Messer
Secondary: Heater Shield
Tertiary: Bandages
Warhammer Fantasy Assorted Builds
While originally this was intended for Regiments of Renown I've decided to expand it out into other factions that don't have enough builds to warrant their own sections.

Regiments of Renown
These are based on the Regiments of Renown from Total War Warhammer. There aren't many of them but I decided to put them in a section of their own, I'm also probably gonna be adding to them.

Sons of Sigmar
Religious fanatics (shocker I know) of Sigmar. However unlike Flagallents they are sensible enough to put on armor. Have slightly improved leg armor to the standard State Troop but that's about it. Personally I think they look better to the standard troop

Equipment:
Head: Bretache
Neck: Nothing
Shoulders: Footmans Pauldrons
Chest: Elizabethan Cuirass
Arms: Landsknecht arms
Hands: Nothing
Waist: Gambeson Skirt no belt
Legs: Brigandine Leggings
Feet: Pointy leather shoes or Townsman shoe

Weapons:
Main: Short Spear
Secondary: Heater Shield
Tertiary: Bandages

Defenders of the Fleur-De-Lis
Regiment of Renown version of the standard Knights Errant and they're, you guessed it, religious fanatics. Aesthetically they have a consistent uniform unlike regular Knights Errant, so if you've got friends and want have a similar look these are the guys for you. They have significantly less head armor than the standard version, to make up for that I gave them a Bastard Sword. They're supposed to ride horses so it shouldn't matter because getting a headshot on a horseman is pretty hard.

Equipment:
Head: Maille Hood lowered
Neck: Maille Hood lowered
Shoulders: Nothing
Chest: Tabard
Arms: Veterans Cuffs
Hands: Hourglass Gauntlets
Waist: Tabard
Legs: Elizabethan Leggings
Feet: Gothic Sabatons

Weapons:
Main: Bastard Sword, Lance
Secondary: Heater Shield
Tertiary: Bandages or Nothing

Knights of the Lionhearted
Regiment of Renown Knights of the Realm. They name themselves after the first Grail Knight and try to follow in his foot steps. Like the Defenders they have a consistent uniform while providing better head protection, so again friend groups might enjoy these.

Equipment:
Head: Greathelm Cloak
Neck: Aventail
Shoulders: Noting
Chest: Tabard
Arms: Veterans Cuffs
Hands: Hourglass Gauntlets
Waist: Tabard
Legs: Elizabethan Cuirass
Feet: Gothic Sabatons

Weapons:
Main: Bastard Sword, Lance
Secondary: Heater Shield
Tertiary: Bandages or Nothing

Companions of Quenelles
My personal favorite of my fantasy loadouts, so much so its the guide picture (at time of writing). The Companions are a group of Questing Knights blessed by the Lady but not in the way of Grail Knights. Wield Greatswords instead of Zweihanders due to Mordhau class limitations.

Equipment:
Head: Greathelm Cloak
Neck: Aventail
Shoulders: Noting
Chest: Tabard
Arms: Veterans Cuffs
Hands: Hourglass Gauntlets
Waist: Tabard
Legs: Elizabethan Leggings
Feet: Gothic Sabatons

Weapons:
Main: Greatsword

Dwarves
The Dawi are a old and proud race of fighters known for their extreme hatred of Elves, Grudges, and their emphasis on worshiping Ancestors.

Hammerers
The elite guardians of the Dwarven Holds, they are chosen from the Ironbreakers as a specialized unit and are known for their crushing everything they face into bits with their large hammers.
The legs are honestly up to you because in all of the art I've seen the legs are covered by scales, they just have to be Tier 3.

Equipment:
Head: Covered Flat Top
Neck: Footsoldiers Gorget
Shoulders: Segmented Pauldrons
Chest: Kasten Brust Chest
Arms: Short chainmail over sleeve
Hands: Segmented Gauntlets
Waist: Scale Skirt
Legs: Elizabethan Leggings
Feet: Scale Sabatons

Weapons:
Main: Maul

Perks: Dwarf

Miners
Your average Dwarven Joe. The miners are generally workers who are conscripted in times of need, and they are suprisingly effective at combat. Unfortunately I couldn't include the Pickaxe they normally wield because armor is required for this build.

Equipment:
Head: Covered Flat Top
Neck: Nothing
Shoulders: Nothing
Chest: Chainmail
Arms: Gambeson Tight Sleeve
Hands: Veterans Gloves or Folded Gloves
Waist: Nothing
Legs: Elizabethan Leggings
Feet: Scale Sabatons

Weapons:
Main: Warhammer
Secondary: Warhammer or Blacksmith Hammer
Tertiary: Nothing

Perks: Dwarf

Slayer
Suicidal Dwarves that seek a worthy death at the hands of worthy enemies. They are known for their dyed bright orange hair and their mohawks, which unfortunately cant be recreated in Mordhau(Yet?)

Equipment:
Pants: Wanderers Pants
Shoes: Fur Boots

Weapons:
Main: War Axe
Secondary: Axe

Perk: Dwarf
The Witcher
A lovely setting of constant war and everyone dying, but there are some great looking soldiers. I won't be covering Witchers because I'm sure we've all seen how to make Geralt.

Temeria
Probably the most well known of the Northern Kingdoms. They were the main enemy of Nilfgaard during the wars of conquest Nilfgaard launched. The symbol of Temeria is the Fleur-De-Lis and the uniforms of the army are generally consistent.

Temerian Infantry
Your standard run of the mill infantry man. They've got a lot of variety when it comes to helmets. They are pretty versatile as a frontliner because their Halberds are good for dealing damage and keeping enemies away.

Equipment:
Head: Sallet, Sallet Raised Visor, Painted Sallet, Painted Sallet Raised Visor, German Sallet, German Sallet Raised, or Spanish Kettle
Neck: Footsoldiers Gorget
Shoulders: Footsoldiers Pauldrons
Chest: Italian Cuirass or Painted Italian Cuirass
Arms: Gambeson Tight Sleeve or Long Sleeve Cloth
Hands: Crude Plate Gauntlets
Waist: Short Gambeson Skirt
Legs: Brigandine Legs
Feet: Townsman shoe or Pointy Leather Shoe

Weapons:
Main: Halberd
Secondary: Bandages or Shortsword
Tertiary: Bandages

Temerian Crossbowmen
Ranged variant of the standard infantry man. More protected than most ranged classes but are slow. I'm only really including this one to show the different options for armor

Equipment:
Same as the Infantryman

Weapons:
Main: Crossbow
Secondary: Arming Sword or Warhammer
Tertiary: Bandages

Poor ♥♥♥♥♥♥' Infantry
Poorly equipped, poorly trained, and generally completely expendable. That's why they are called Poor ♥♥♥♥♥♥' Infantry after all. Their uniforms are pretty inconsistent being rag tag peasants so there's a lot of variation.

Equipment:
Head: Vanguards Kettle, Spanish Kettle, or Kettle
Neck: Aventail lowered or Hood under Helmet
Shoulders: Nothing
Chest: Gambeson or Tunic
Arms: Gambeson Tight Sleeve or Long Sleeve Cloth
Hands: Nothing
Waist: Gambeson or Tunic
Legs: Calf Guard Hosen
Feet: Pointy Leather Shoes or Chain Boots

Weapons:
Main: Spear

Temerian Knight
The more elite infantry of Temeria. Well armored, well trained and better as a frontliner because of the shield. Aesthetically I really like the look of these guys but the Bevor they wear is difficult to recreate.

Equipment:
Head: German Sallet Buffet. German Sallet Buffet Raised, German Sallet, German Sallet Raised
Neck: Footsoldiers Gorget
Shoulders: Footmans Pauldrons
Chest: Italian Cuirass or Painted Italian Cuirass
Arms: Gothic Arms
Hands: Crude Plate Gauntlets
Waist: Gambeson Skirt no belt
Legs: Brigandine Legs
Feet: Townsman shoe or Pointy Leather Shoe

Weapons:
Main: Bastard or Arming Sword
Secondary: Heater Shield
Tertiary: Bandages or Nothing

Blue Stripe Commando
Elite commandos of Temeria. They are most well known for their blue stripes on their helmets/masks which I unfortunately can't recreate until they add the Executioner's Hood. I made this class with being annoying to fight in mind, like the actual Commandos.

Equipment:
Head: Klappviser, Klappviser raised, Nothing
Neck: Cloth Coif, Cloth Coif lowered
Shoulders: Footmans Pauldrons
Chest: Leather Lamellar Chest
Arms: Brigandine Arms
Hands: Veterans Gloves
Waist: Leather Lamellar Skirt
Legs: Brigandine Legs
Feet: Footsoldiers Boots

Weapons:
Main: Longsword
Secondary: Bear Trap or Fire Bomb
Tertiary: Throwing Axe or Smoke Bomb

Redania
A very wealthy country that is a member of The Northern Kingdoms. Their incredible wealth comes from constant trade with just about everyone. Their colors are red and white and their symbol is definitely not from medieval Poland. Definitely.

Redanian Footsoldier
Your standard run of the mill infantry. They serve as the front line and as the guards of cities. Well equipped thanks to Redanias deep pockets.

Equipment:
Head: Painted Sallet Raised Visor or Painted Sallet
Neck: Hood Under Helmet
Shoulders: Nothing
Chest: Italian Cuirass or Painted Italian Cuirass
Arms: Long Sleeve Cloth
Hands: Hourglass Gauntlets
Waist: Short Gambeson
Legs: Brigandine Legs
Feet: Footsoldiers Boots

Weapons:
Main: Spear or any one handed sword
Secondary: Heater Shield( w/ sword)
Tertiary: Bandages

Redanian Knight
Well equipped with some of the best armor money can buy and the training to go along with it, Redanian Knights are a force to be reckoned with.

Equipment:
Head: Painted Barbute Visor
Neck: Footsoldiers Gorget
Shoulders: Segmented Pauldrons
Chest: Italian Cuirass
Arms: Tightened Gambeson Sleeves
Hands: Hourglass Gauntlets
Waist: Short Gambeson
Legs: Brigandine Legs
Feet: Townsman Shoe

Weapons:
Main: Bastard Sword
Secondary: Kite Shield
Tertiary: nothing
The Witcher Cont.
Nilfgaard
The dominant force on the continent after 3 wars of conquest. Originally they wore pretty terrible looking armor which I won't be including (if you've seen the Netflix series you know what I'm talking about). Their colors are grey, black, white, and yellow. Their symbol is a yellow sun with a black center.

Nilfgaard Knight
Probably the most well known soldier of Nilfgaard, which is why I'm including it first. The knights are feared throughout the continent by Nilfgaards enemies and are incredibly deadly. Nilfgaard is incredibly rich and as such they can afford to go all out when equipping their knights. The knights wear flashy armor with lots of gold trim and usually wear an Orly and Horns which I can't recreate here so I tried my best.

Equipment:
Head: Archers Sallet
Neck: Heavy Bevor
Shoulders: Shield Pauldrons
Chest: Italian Cuirass
Arms: Veterans Cuffs
Hands: Basic Segmented Gauntlets
Waist: Nothing
Legs: Landsknecht Legs
Feet: Travelers Boots

Weapons:
Main: Zweihander or Greatsword
Secondary: Nothing
Tertiary: Bandages or Nothing

Nilfgaard Archer
A lesser known soldier of Nilfgaard that I had to get pretty creative to make. Pretty much a run of the mill archer honestly.

Equipment:
Head: Hood
Neck: Nothing
Shoulders: Nothing
Chest: Leather Lamellar
Arms: Tightened Gambeson Sleeve or Long Sleeve Cloth
Hands: Leather Gloves or Nothing
Waist: Gothic Skirt
Legs: Chainmail Hosen
Feet: Townsman Shoe or Pointy Leather

Weapons:
Main: Longbow
Secondary: Dagger
Tertiary: Nothing

Nilfgaard Auxiliary Infantry
Soldiers from conquered states that Nilfgaard has conscripted. They are less well equipped than the knights and are generally more expendable. Had to get creative with this one because of the weird armor. They normally have a helmet spike but that isn't in Mordhau.

Equipment:
Head: Viking Helmet
Neck: Aventail lowered or Spiked Aventail lowered
Shoulders: Leather Pads
Chest: Gambeson
Arms: Long Sleeve Cloth
Hands: Veterans Gloves
Waist: Gambeson
Legs: Brigandine Leggings
Feet: Folded Boots

Weapons:
Main: Short Spear
Secondary: Heater Shield
Tertiary: Bandages

Nilfgaard Auxiliary Archer
Unlike the Auxiliary Infantry these guys are well paid mercenaries that Nilfgaard hires out for their archery skills. Also unlike the Auxiliary Infantry they aren't completely expendable. Mechanically they are the same as the regular Archer except for more head protection.

Equipment:
Head: Viking Helmet
Neck: Hood under helmet
Shoulders: Nothing
Chest: Gambeson
Arms: Tightened Gambeson
Hands: Long Sleeve Leather
Waist: Gambeson
Legs: Baggy pants
Feet: Travelers Boots

Weapons:
Main: Longbow
Secondary: Dagger
Tertiary: Nothing
Game of Thrones
I'm not the most familiar with Game of Thrones in general so this section in particular I encourage people to give me suggestions. These classes are gonna be based on the Song of Fire and Ice miniatures and not the TV show because honestly I don't like TV shows designs

The Night's Watch
Guardians of The Wall in the north, protecting the northern lands from the Wildlings and the mysterious Others. The Wall they guard is a massive superstructure stretching three miles and rising over three hundred feet above the ground. In modern Westeros they are gradually becoming smaller and smaller as less people take upon The Watch. These guys are my favorite faction though I only have limited GOT knowledge. The faction is characterized by wearing all black as a mark of The Watch.

Sworn Brother
Fully sworn in soldiers of The Watch. These guys are the standard infantry of The Night's Watch and are dangerous in the right hands. The lack of head protection will get you killed but death is preferable to lack of style

Equipment:
Head: Nothing
Neck: Fur Coif
Shoulders: Short Mantle(cape)
Chest: Chainmail Coat or Gambeson Coat
Arms: Long Sleeve Cloth
Hands: Veterans Gloves
Waist: Longskirt Back
Legs: Baggy pants
Feet: Fur Boots

Weapons:
Main: Greatsword
Secondary: Any one handed sword
Tertiary: Nothing

Ranger
Sworn brothers of the Night's Watch who undertake the most dangerous job, patrolling beyond The Wall in order to evaluate threats past it.

Equipment:
Head: Workers Hood
Neck: Nothing
Shoulders: Short Mantle or Fur of choice
Chest: Chainmail coat or Gambeson Coat
Arms: Long Sleeve Cloth
Hands: Veterans Gloves or Long Sleeve Leather Gloves
Waist: Longskirt back
Legs: Baggy pants
Feet: Fur Boots

Builder Crossbowmen
A subfaction of the Night's Watch. These guys maintain The Wall and the castles of the Night's Watch in order to prevent them from falling to the elements or to the Wildlings. I really like these guys but they're pretty much just a lightly armored crossbowmen.

Equipment:
Head: Workers Hood
Neck: Nothing
Shoulders: Short Mantle or Fur of choice
Chest: Veterans Leather Cuirass
Arms: Long Sleeve Cloth
Hands: Long Sleeve Leather Gloves
Waist: Longskirt Back
Legs: Baggy pants
Feet: Fur Boots

House Stark
The rulers of The North, an ancient and proud kingdom with a very rich history. They also have a long history of violence against House Lannister. They are one of the Great Houses along with House Lannister and House Targaryen.

Stark Sworn Sword
The main fighting force of House Stark. These men are not as well equipped as some others of Westeros but they are very effective.

Equipment:
Head: Klappviser or Norman Caspue
Neck: Aventail
Shoulders: Basic Triangle
Chest: Chainmail Tabard
Arms: Chainmail arms
Hands: Veterans Gloves
Waist: Chainmail
Legs: Baggy Pants
Feet: Travelers Boots

Weapons:
Main: Bastard Sword
Secondary: Round Shield
Tertiary: Bandages

Stark Bowmen
Conscripted bowmen who's main advantage is the amount of arrows they can throw into the air with their longbows. Had to get creative with this one. Normally they don't wear chainmail besides the aventail, but there's nothing similar looking in game(yet?)

Equipment:
Head: Archers Sallet or Norman Caspue
Neck: Aventail Lowered
Shoulders: Nothing
Chest: Chainmail Tabard
Arms: Long sleeve cloth
Hands: Nothing
Waist: Chainmail
Legs: Baggy pants
Feet: Riders boots

Weapon:
Main: Longbow
Secondary: Short Sword
Tertiary: Nothing

Stark Outrider
The horse riding counterpart to the Swornshields, mainly used as a hit and run flanking force to the main Stark army.

Equipment:
Head: Archers sallet or Norman Caspue
Neck: Fur Coif or Coif
Shoulders: Wolf Chain Pelt
Chest: Tabard
Arms: Veteran Cuffs Plain
Hands: Nothing
Waist: Tabard
Legs: Baggy pants
Feet: Riders Boots

Weapons:
Main: Bastard Sword
Secondary: Round Shield
Tertiary: Bandages

House Tulley
A smaller house with a very heavy fish aesthetic. They are very close allies to House Starks and were one of the first houses to answer the Starks call to arms in the war for The Iron Throne.

Tulley Swornshield
Providing some much needed heavy armor for the Stark army are the Swornshields. They wear heavy armor and make use of a line of interlocking shields that is nigh impossible to break. Aesthetically I struggled a bit to recreate the "fish scale" armor they wear so I had to get creative.

Equipment:
Head: German Sallet Buffet Raised
Neck: Heavy Bevor
Shoulders: Fluted pauldrons 2x2
Chest: Fluted Cuirass
Arms: Footsoldiers arms
Hands: Gothic Gauntlets
Waist: Gothic Skirt
Legs: Gothic Leggings
Feet: Chain Boots

Weapons:
Main: Bastard Sword
Secondary: Heater Shield
Tertiary: Bandages

Tully Cavalier
The heavily armored regiments of House Tully's cavalry fill the void of House Stark lacking any heavy cavalry of their own. The fish on horses tear through enemy forces with thunderous charges, lance in hand.

Equipment:
Head: German Sallet Buffet
Neck: Coif
Shoulders: Fluted Pauldrons 2x2
Chest: Fluted Cuirass
Arms: Footsoldiers arms
Hands: Gothic Gauntlets
Waist: Gothic Skirt
Legs: Gothic Leggings
Feet: Gothic Sabatons

Weapons:
Main: Lance (a cavalier is never without one)
Secondary: Heater Shield
Tertiary: Bandages
Game of Thrones Cont.
House Lannister
Probably the most well known house from Game of Thrones and by far the richest. Their army is one of the best of Westeros thanks to the Lannisters deep pockets. They are well trained, well equipped, and have amazing discipline. I had to get creative again due to the uniforms most of them wear, and unfortunately for poor people like me they use lots of plumes.

Lannister Halbedier
One of the more common soldiers the Lannisters field, they are made up of well trained militiamen. They normally fight in large formations and are amazing at keeping cavalry at bay. The gorget they wear is impossible to recreate so I tried my best here. An oddity of these guys is they don't normally have plumes, so these are the cheapest to make.

Equipment:
Head: Sallet or German Sallet
Neck: Heavy Bevor
Shoulders: Shield Pauldrons or Segmented Pauldrons
Chest: Tabard
Arms: Landsknecht arms or Long Sleeve Cloth
Hands: Gothic Gauntlets
Waist: Tabard
Legs: Joined Hosen
Feet: Riders Boots

Weapons:
Main: Halberd
Secondary: Bandages or Nothing

Lannister Guardsmen
The shield bearing cousins to the Halbediers with a slightly different look to their plume less comrades. The standard guardsmen have full cloth uniform while the captains have a plate chestplate. I won't be including the captain variant due to similarity to the standard guardsmen.

Equipment:
Head: German Sallet Plume or German Sallet Plume Raised
Neck: Heavy Bevor
Shoulders: Shield Pauldrons or Segemented Pauldrons
Chest: Draped Cuirass
Arms: Landsknecht Arms
Hands: Gothic Pauldrons
Waist: Gothic Skirt
Legs: Joined Hosen
Feet: Riders Boots

Weapons:
Main: Bastard Sword
Secondary: Heater Shield
Tertiary: Bandages

The Mountains Men
The dregs of Lannister society formed into a fighting unit. They are incredibly cruel fighters and are effective as terror troops, being known for showing no mercy and taking no prisoners.

Equipment:
Head: Nothing or Raised Gothic Armet
Neck: Veterans Basic Gorget
Shoulders: Segmented Pauldrons
Chest: Footsoldiers Cuirass
Arms: Footsoldiers Arms
Hands: Crude Plate Gauntlets
Waist: Short Chainmail Skirt
Legs: Elizabethan Cuirass
Feet: Gothic Sabatons

Weapons:
Main: Greatsword
Secondary: Bandages
Tertiary: Nothing

House Baratheon
The true rulers of Westeros, probably. The ruler of this house Robert Baratheon claims to be the true heir to the Iron Throne. Their symbol is the royal stag but there aren't any deer in Mordhau so I used a lobster, that's close to a stag right?

Baratheon Warden
The elite soldiers of The Stag wearing heavy armor and wielding House Baratheons signature warhammer, they are meant to get stuck into melee and stay there.

Equipment:
Head: Flat Templar or Greathelm
Neck: Aventail
Shoulders: Knights Pauldrons 3x3
Chest: Tabard
Arms: Footsoldiers Arms
Hands: Veterans Gloves
Waist: Tabard
Legs: Elizabethan Leggings
Feet: Gothic Sabatons

Weapons
Main: Warhammer
Secondary: Heater Shield
Tertiary: Any one handed weapon (minus messer)
The Lord of The Rings
An amazing setting written by the great JRR Tolkien, but you probably know about it from the absolutely stunning movie series made by Peter Jackson. I am aware there is a dedicated Lord of the Rings mod however these loadouts will only be using base game items.

Rohan
The plains kingdom of Rohan produces the greatest horsemen on Middle Earth, making them a force to be reckoned with. They are close allies to the Kingdom of Gondor and most famously came to their aid at the battle for Pelennor Fields. The Riders of Rohan can field great numbers of horseman and are optimally played after watching this:

And while spamming Forth Eorlingas! in the chat

Rohan Infantryman
This may be shocking but an entirely horse based army is not the greatest idea so there are Infantryman. Walkers of Rohan doesn't really have the same ring to it though does it?
Alternatively these guys can be used as the Riders due to nearly identical looks. Simply substitute the axe for a larger weapon.

Equipment:
Head: Spagenhelm, Spagenhelm Stripped
Neck: Nothing
Shoulders: Short Mantle (cape)
Chest: Plate Lamallar Cuirass
Arms: Brigandine Arms
Hands: Veterans Gloves
Waist: Plate Lamallar Waist
Legs: Calf Guard Hosen
Feet: Chain boots or Pointy Leather Shoes

Weapons:
Main: Axe, Battleaxe, Spear, Short Spear, or Recurve Bow
Secondary: Targe or Round Shield
Tertiary: Arming Sword

Rohan Longbowmen
The bow wielding counterparts to the Infantryman. Shockingly a melee only army is a bad idea so Rohan bring peasants wielding Longbows to the field. While not as well equipped as the signature Riders they are strong in larger numbers.

Equipment:
Head: Spagenhelm or Spagenhelm Stripped
Neck: Hood Under Helmet or Nothing
Shoulders: Short Mantle (cape)
Chest: Tunic
Arms: Long Sleeve Cloth
Hands: Long Sleeve Leather Gloves
Waist: Tunic
Legs: Calf Guard Hosen
Feet: Chain Boots or Pointy Leather Shoes

Weapons:
Main: Longbow
Secondary: Cleaver
Tertiary: Nothing

Rohan Royal Guard
While King Theoden may be an incredible badass even his titanium balls require protection now and then. This is where the Royal Guard come in to protect him, except that time on Pelennor when they failed their only job. But you know details. They sport a slightly different look to the standard Rider/Infantryman and must ride a horse.

Equipment:
Head: Spagenhelm, Spagenhelm Stripped
Neck: Nothing
Shoulders: Short Mantle
Chest: Plate Lamallar Cuirass
Arms: Archers Arms
Hands: Veterans Gloves
Waist: Plate Lamallar or Nordic Skirt
Legs: Calf Guard Hosen
Feet: Chain boots or Pointy Leather Shoes

Weapons:
Main: Short Spear, Battleaxe, Spear, or Recurve Bow
Secondary: Targe or Round Shield
Tertiary: Arming Sword or Axe

Gondor
The rich kingdom of men with an incredibly well equipped army. They, along with Rohan, helped turn the tide of the war against the Orcs at the battle of Pelennor Fields where the Witch King fell.

Swordsmen
The most common soldier you'd see on the battlefield. Well equipped, well trained, and well armed. They wear plate armor decorated with the White Tree and wear eagle wing embossed helmets. Unfortunately these are not available so I tried my best.

Equipment:
Head: Veterans Helm
Neck: Footsoldiers Gorget
Shoulders: Footmans Pauldrons
Chest: Footsoldiers Cuirass
Arms: Veterans Cuffs Plain
Hands: Veterans Gloves
Waist: Plate Lamallar Skirt
Legs: Gothic Leggings
Feet: Gothic Sabatons

Weapons:
Main: Bastard Sword
Secondary: Heater Shield
Tertiary: Bandages

Spearmen
This is an alternative Gondorian foot soldier. I'm leaving the other one in in case someone thinks it looks better, but I like this one more.

Equipment:
Head: Gallowglass Helm
Neck: Footsoldier Gorget
Shoulders: Footmans Pauldrons
Chest: Kasten Burst Chest
Arms: Veterans Cuffs Plain
Hands: Veterans Gloves
Waist: Faulds
Legs: Gothic Leggings
Feet: Gothic Sabatons

Weapons:
Main: Short Spear
Secondary: Kite Shield
Dark Souls
One of my all time favorite game franchises, Dark Souls! The game where you die all the time, so really Mordhau isn't that different. I had to get creative for the most part with these outfits, so I encouraged you guys to make your own touches to them. I am of course, open to suggestions. This section is going to be more of a "Character Series" than a troop list because of the uniqueness of the Dark Souls looks.

Solaire of Astora
What better way to start off a Dark Souls section than with everyone's favorite sun shine boy, Solaire. He's well armored and well protected thanks to the shield.

Equipment:
Head: Flat Templar
Neck: Coif
Shoulders: Workers Scarf
Chest: Draped Cuirass
Arms: Veteran Cuffs Plain
Hands: Nothing
Waist: Crude Plate Skirt
Legs: Greaves
Feet: Pointy Leather Shoes

Equipment:
Main: Bastard Sword
Secondary: Round Shield
Tertiary: Nothing

Iudex Gundyr
The first boss of Dark Souls 3. I really like the look of this guy and he's very strong thanks to his Bardiche and the new Tank perk. This one is yet another creative one so put your own spin on it if you want.

Equipment:
Head: Covered Flat Top
Neck: Aventail
Shoulders: Segmented Pauldrons
Chest: Burgundian Cuirass or Burgundian Cuirass Covered
Arms: Italian Arms
Hands: Fanned Segmented Gauntlets
Waist: Longskirt Back
Legs: Greaves
Feet: Pointy Leather Shoe

Equipment:
Main: Bardiche

Mandatory Perks: Tank

Elite Knight
Probably one of the most well known armor sets in the game, worn by characters like Anri of Astora and Oscar of Astora. Oscar is of course the most important character in all of Dark Souls.

Equipment:
Head: Close Armet
Neck: Open Gambeson Collar
Shoulders: Knight Pauldrons 1x3
Chest: Draped Cuirass or Campaigners Draped Cuirass (for a more worn look)
Arms: Gothic Arms
Hands: Long Sleeve Leather Gloves
Waist: Gothic Skirt
Legs: Brigandine Legs
Feet: Townsman Shoe

Weapons:
Main: Bastard Sword
Secondary: Heater Shield
Tertiary: None

Abyss Watcher
Carrying on the legacy of Artorias the Abyss Watcher, the Farron Legion protect the kingdom of Lothric from the horrors of the Abyss. This one took quite a bit of creative measures due to the uniqueness of how the Farron Legion look.

Equipment:
Head: German Kettle
Neck: Cloth Coif
Shoulders: Chain Pads
Chest: Chainmail Coat
Arms: Long Sleeve Cloth
Hands: Fanned Segmented Gauntlets
Waist: Nothing
Legs: Baggy Pants
Feet: Riders Boots or Folded Boots

Weapons:
Main: Greatsword
Secondary: Cleaver
Tertiray: None

Lothric Knight
The defenders of Castle Lothric, the Lothric knights were an elite fighting force made up of the best knights around. Up until they all went hollow and Lothric castle became a shadow of its former self, but ya know details.

Equipment:
Head: Close Armet or Raised Gothic Armet
Neck: Gorget
Shoulders: Knights Pauldrons 3x3
Chest: Campaigners Draped Cuirass
Arms: Veteran Cuffs
Hands: Gothic Gauntlets
Waist: Short Chainmail Skirt
Legs: Elizabethan Leggings
Feet: Gothic Sabatons

Weapons:
Main: Bastard Sword
Secondary: Heater Shield
Tertiary: Nothing

Perks: Tank (Optional)

Cathedral Knight
Wielding massive tower shields and acting as mobile walls, the Cathedral Knights are incredible tanks. They destroy armor with their blunt weapons while protecting their friends with their shields. I have included two different versions for the differing equipment they use

Equipment:
Head: Flat Templar
Neck: Aventail, Coif
Shoulders: Short Mantle (cape)
Chest: Burgundian Cuirass Covered
Arms: Gothic Arms
Hands: Gothic Gauntlets
Waist: Longskirt Back
Legs: Gothic Leggings
Feet: Chain Boots

Weapons:
Main: Warhammer (Mace if you sacrifice armor)
Secondary: Kite Shield
Tertiary:Nothing

Perks: Tank

Variant 2
A slightly less armored variant without the kite shield, instead wielding a Eveningstar. Personally I prefer the shielded variant.

Equipment:
Head: Flat Templar
Neck: Aventail, Coif
Shoulders: Short Mantle
Chest: Gothic Plate
Arms: Veterans Cuffs
Hands: Gothic Gauntlets
Waist: Longskirt Cover
Legs: Greaves
Feet: Townsman Shoe

Weapons:
Main: Eveningstar (Wardens Grandmace skin optional)

Perks: Tank

Faraam Knight
One of the better looking outfits from Dark Souls 2, a game I haven't played. The Faraam Knight is pretty on point except for the helmet, with the heavy barbute being the closest I can get.

Equipment:
Head: Heavy Barbute
Neck: None
Shoulders: Fur Mantle, bear pelt if you want something bigger
Chest: Padded Cuirass
Arms: Gothic Arms
Hands: Fanned Segmented Gauntlets
Waist: Longskirt Back
Legs: Hunters Hosen
Feet: Travelers Boots

Weapons:
Have fun

Sir Vilhelm
A character from the Ashes of Ariendal DLC, known for his extremely sexy voice. Also his asthetics are very nice, in my opinion. This is of course the closest I could get so if you think something looks better make the change

Equipment:
Head: Close Armet
Neck: Gambeson Collar Open
Shoulders: Workers Scarf or Short Mantle
Chest: Veterans Leather Cuirass
Arms: Brigandine Arms
Hands: Wisby Gauntlets or Hourglass Gauntlets
Waist: None
Legs: Footsoldiers Leggings
Feet: Pointy Leather Shoes

Weapons:
Main: Greatsword
Secondary: The Dark Hand (just use Mordhau's hidden magic system. Its real, probably.)

For the Fish Scale armor of house tully, you can use the lamallar armor. The fish scale is just a fancier version of lamallar.

just throw the waist and shoulder pieces on as well.

It would also be accurately representing the real strength of the armor.

You should really switch out the Bretache for the Empire State Troops for the Archer's Sallet.
