A friend of mine said he did a couple of tests, and with more sails it didn't loose as much speed as the raft got bigger. I did not test this, but liked it anyways so decided to build like this. Three are facing forward, the one left of the center are reverse sail for going backwards.

Is it faster with multiple sails?
