Beskrivelse
Adds the Republic of Liberia, under Joseph Jenkins Roberts. The colony of Liberia was founded as a result of the American Colonization Society on the Pepper Coast in West Africa. Many American politicians and free African-Americans alike hailed Liberia as a safe haven for free African Americans who faced discrimination leading up to the American Civil War. As a result, many African Americans (now called "Americo-Liberians") made the trek from America to West Africa to found a new colony. Joseph Jenkins Roberts was the first President elected after the independence of Liberia, and through his skillful diplomacy, he made sure Liberia was recognized as an independent country of its own.

This is a great mod. It adds to the historical value of playing civ and touches on current events in modern society. Well done.
