Pen & Paper Boats & Ships for RPGs

Description
A collection of 'battlemaps' for boats, ships, rafts, and more from various books, turned into easy-to move and use tokens for Tabletop Simulator RPG games.

My DM had some ship combat reference books sitting around for our campaign, and I figured I'd make some of the blueprints more usable for our games. Currently there are 31 different ships to choose from, some with more detail than others. Most of them are not scaled up yet to fit your default Tabletop Simulator miniature size, so save what ships you want (either directly to your saved objects, or put them in a bag first) and bring them over to your game of choice, and scale them up on site.

A few of the ships come with multiple decks, which you can stack to achieve a pseudo-3D effect and give your players a sense of the vertical separation of the decks.

The ship 'tokens' are also auto-cropped by Tabletop Simulator into their shapes, and sometimes stuff like ballista-heads, portholes, or other small features get cut off to 'simplify' the shape. If you need to improve the quality of the crop or just want to mess with the setting, right-click a ship piece and click on 'custom' at the top; the slider you're looking for is the 'merge distance' setting. Lower it to increase detail, or raise it up to make the shape less complex.

The boats can also be colored a bit, if you want. Just adjust the color-tint with the right-click menu.

NOTES: Raising the 'merge distance' also sometimes helps solve issues where ships with too many small shapes (like oars) don't render properly and just flicker. Also, fair warning: Attempting to attach more than 2 tokens together with the 'attach tool' does weird things, so I don't advise it when stacking ship decks.

Thanks for downloading. Feel free to drop a like, and have fun!

I lied. Steam doesn't allow random posting of drive links! So... just friend or otherwise DM me, otherwise I'll fix this in due time--it's great people are still using this weird little thing I worked on 4 years ago to make awesome TRPG experiences, haha.

@Probbly My group has noticed a lot of bits I've uploaded to Steam Cloud breaking over time; I'm not sure the rhyme or reason unfortunately, and even tokens I reupload seem to break after a few weeks. I would assume the mod is falling victim to this pattern now as well.

If anyone has insight, let me know.

But in the meantime: Eventually, I can see about uploading the bits to an image hoster and then relinking the parts, but my schedule is a bit tight for a few weeks. If you (or anyone else) is super interested still and I haven't gotten to fixing it, I'll post a gdrive link to the raw images so you can make tokens of your own.

I think the mod is broken. I can't load it up

I'm surprised this doesn't have ANY comments whatsoever. This looks like a fantastic mod and I will be downloading and rating immediately.:dragonseal:
