1) A layer of crude oil and petroleum in the steam room is desirable if your aquatuner is made of gold amalgam. The reason is that you need a fluid with good thermal conductivity to compensate for the poor conductivity of gold amalgam, and petroleum is just superior to steam in that regard.
2) 10 grams per tile should be fine. It's only the two tiles with crude oil that require a specific amount of liquid to work properly (540 g > total mass ≥ 400 g)
3) I just fill the steam room with water. That way I don't have to vacuum it. Notice that new steam is added to the steam room every time you load the game and the electrolyzer starts to stutter.
4) Water geysers and return water from steam turbines. That includes steam vents and cool steam vents.
5) A liquid vent probably.
1. for the mesh tiles below the aquatuner, the imgur shows they contain steam, however the blueprint contains crude oil and petrol, so I'm unsure which is correct. Without oil/petrol I seem to end up with liquid water in the meshes ( tho I haven't had a chance to test the system properly with 95c water yet, so I'm unsure)
2. I wasn't sure on crude oil/petrol amounts for each tile, aside for the lyzer with a 100g on left 300g crude oil on right. I'm assuming all other liquids are just 10g, inc the petrol above the 300g of oil, as they seem to hold up without spilling anywhere
3. is there a recommendation on how much steam needs to be in the aquatuner room?
4. whats the suited ~95c water sources for this? Cool steam vent/salt water geyser are too cool yeah?
5. What should the bypass water outlet be hooked up to?
Apologies for the many questions!
Is it a mod ? I like this tile how to get it ?
Thanks
How you're going to deal with the steam and/or water is a matter of choice. The most obvious solutions are to pump or delete it. Or you could have your oil well fully submerged in water. But there are other options (see GECK [imgur.com]).
