"This is my "high detail" artistic rendition of characters from the game 3089 (the sequel to 3079). The actual game has a simple, low polygon style. The Overlord (left) is shown assembling the player character (right). Note that the overlord is not visually shown in the game and the player character model can only be seen when you create a decoy or in multi-player.

I designed the Steam trading cards, emoticons, backgrounds and badges for the game. This image is a slightly modified version of a steam profile background. Most of the 3089 Steam cards, backgrounds, etc. can be viewed on Steam Card Exchange[www.steamcardexchange.net].

Please visit my website: http://www.Swawa3D.com if you are interested in viewing more of my works. My galleries also feature a high detail rendition of the races from 3079 (the prequel to 3089)."

Thanks, I joined your group. I work for the developer of 3079, 3089 & the upcoming 4089. Let us know if you would be interested in running a competition for any of our games.

Hi there artist I run a group called ARTWORK-A-THON ATTACK that specializes in getting fan artwork aknowledged amongst the Steam community. We run fan artwork competitions in conjunction with the development houses whose games we feature (they kindly donate a key to the winner). There is normally a theme around the game the artist has to submit artwork for. The idea is to have a common playground for all artists showing off their work to the group plus its a great way to get you artwork exposed.

We currently have a competition running for best fan artwork for the game Neverending Nightmares and the creator Matt Gilenbach is involved in helping curate. I see you have already done some excellent artwork. If you would be interested in joining and taking part in events that would be great. If not I am terribly sorry for spamming you.

More information can be found here if you are interested http://steamcommunity.com/groups/ARTACK and in the HOW TO ENTER GUIDE in the forums.

This is easily one of the coolest 3D renders i've seen for a game. Mad props, dude. :3089bot2:

@BurgherBishop Profit: Thanks for the feedback. The story is vague, minimal and open ended by design but we might be able to go into a little more depth with it in some way, at some point in the future. :3079smile:

This games story is SOO vague.

It should remain like that, but allow the possibility of unlocking the story as you progress.

Maybe eventually learning who the Overlord is, and how Hummanity went from how it was in 2014 to... Uh that. (Assuming hummanity wasn't overran with robots).

Or maybe a reason given why robotic designs are needed for war, what war is the Overlords Faction fighting?
