How to FIX bugged achievements (Socks, Spatulas)

Have you finished the game at 100 spatulas and 80 socks, but you're missing achievements like me? Here is the solution!

If this looks familiar to you... Although you have completed the game at 100%, this guide is for you!

Step 1

Start a new game, I'd recommend to do this in an empty slot.

Step 2

Now you must know how many socks and/or spatulas you're missing to complete the achievement counter. In my example above you can see that I am missing two socks and one spatula.

Step 3

Now, the only thing you need to do is to collect this items in this new game file, I'll recommend to do this in Bikini Bottom and Jellyfish Fields. I got my spatula and the 2 socks from bikini bottom and now I got the 100%! Here is my proof

Well this one saved my 100% completion. Big thx to that (even though it's quite obvious what to do - but I just didn't get the idea)

I haven't even opened the game yet and my achievements are bugged, any achievement involving golden spatulas already has values even though I've never played yet.

Since they're tracking achievements my guess is your connection with steam flickered at some point when collecting something. And there's no system in place to track unique socks/spatulas so you could theoretically reload a new game 100 time, collect "all spatulas" and call it a day with no other achievements.

i didnt but get through but only part of the game and got the 100 spatulas cause i kept replaying on new saves LOL

The reverse happened to me... I have 2 spatulas left to get despite having all the achivements...
