Ramun Flame's Curated Collection of [Fully Scripted] Games
25 items
The second in my series of fully scripted games, it's Azul [Fully Scripted]!

  • Press the "Start Game" button when all players are seated.
  • On your turn, click on a tile group. The tiles will rise up showing they are selected.
  • After selecting a tile group, hover over your board, and click where you would like to place it.
That's it. The game has you covered for everything else. Enjoy!

Description from BGG
Introduced by the Moors, azulejos (originally white and blue ceramic tiles) were fully embraced by the Portuguese when their king Manuel I, on a visit to the Alhambra palace in Southern Spain, was mesmerized by the stunning beauty of the Moorish decorative tiles. The king, awestruck by the interior beauty of the Alhambra, immediately ordered that his own palace in Portugal be decorated with similar wall tiles. As a tile-laying artist, you have been challenged to embellish the walls of the Royal Palace of Evora.

In the game Azul, players take turns drafting colored tiles from suppliers to their player board. Later in the round, players score points based on how they've placed their tiles to decorate the palace. Extra points are scored for specific patterns and completing sets; wasted supplies harm the player's score. The player with the most points at the end of the game wins.

Other Game Recommendations
If you are interested in trying another game by the same designer, Michael Kiesling, Riverboat is a fantastic medium weight euro game.

If you like fully scripted mods, Candy Land [Fully Scripted] also doubles as a fun way to determine first player in other games.

Closing Comments
If you run into any issues or errors, please post the error message/issue. I'm also open to any suggestions.

Let me know in the comments what game I should fully script next.

Do you have plans to add Special Factory B? Or am I missing that both special factories are already implemented? Either way, thanks for scripting this, its really well done :)

I can't be sure without a screenshot, but the AI doesn't use any separate scoring compared to players, so this bug would happen with players too. If it happens again, could you please include a screenshot, and post it in the bug thread? Thank you.

The scoring doesn't appear to be working properly. I have 3 tiles down the very left column and so does the AI player and they're in the same place (very top left corner running down for 3 tiles) which means they're the same colour as well, and the scores are different. It was the first round so this was the score just for one round. The AI character got 6 points and I got 4. I had no tiles in the floor area. My understanding, according to the provided rules, is we should each have a score of 3.

I don't think I've ever played a board game on TTS that ran so well.
It's been said before but I'll say it again - FANTASTIC job on the script, thank you so much!
