High Quality Stretched Resolution
Autorstwa: SajProx
You didn't want that 1280x960 stretch resolution because you didn't want to burn your eyes out from low quality pixels. So now instead of looking this up on Youtube you came to guides. For some reason and yeah. Yeah wanted high quality stretch res.

The Basics? idk
So your probably thinking why is stretch res low quality? Well, you are playing on 4:3 and 4:3 isn't native to your monitor or maybe it is? Well if you came here too look at this it probably isn't. Your monitor is probably 16:9 or 16:10. Now anyways resolution is defined as the area of an image's pixels. Meaning image resolution = pixel length x pixel height = resolution, so if a image is 16x16 it's going to be low quality because there are 256 pixels in total. You probably play on 4:3 1280x960 because that's the most common I think It's going to be 1228800 pixels. Now you probably say it's a lot but really it's not. Your monitor is 1920x1080 right? Hopefully. That's 2073600 pixels in total now if you play 4k then uh just skip to the 4k area. For 4k people their resolution is 4096x2160 that's 8847360 pixels. So the game tries to fix this by putting black bars or stretch your screen. Now if you don't know how to get rid of the black bars and stretch your screen then i'll tell you. Right click your desktop and go to NVIDIA Control Panel Looks something like this(sorry for minecraft enchantment table language.). Then go to
"Adjust desktop size and position" and check full screen and press apply Something like this.. Then go in the game and you get stretch res. yay.
Actually Now Getting High Quality Stretch Res.
It's actually quite simple. So again right click on the desktop and go to NVIDIA Control Panel. Go to change resolution. After that click on Customize...It should look like this You shouldn't have all the resolutions that I have yet, because you didn't make any. After that click on Create Custom Resolution... at the bottom. Change the horizontal pixels to 1440 and click test. If you are confused hopefully this picture will help you out Your screen should go black for a second and then you can see your stretched out screen. Should say something like this. Click yes. Screen should go back to normal and your resolution is there under custom. Close that and your done!
4k People.
I'm a poor bloke so I actually don't know how this looks. So, right click your desktop and go to Click NVIDA Control Panel change resolution. Then press Customize... Now it would look something like this and no you wouldn't have all those custom resolutions. After that press create custom resolution and where you see horizontal pixels and vertical pixels at the very top. Change horizontal pixels to 2560 or 1920 or 1440. Then change vertical pixels to 1920 for 2560 or 1440 for 1920 or 1920 for 1440. For those of you who are confused it's 2560x1920 1920x1440 and 1440x1920 here photo help Then click test. The screen should go black and your screen will be stretched then click yes should look something like this. screen should go black and changes back to your native res. Press ok and exit out of the Control Panel and your done!
Done. Finished. Yes.
You can know launch up CSGO and go to Settings>Video>Aspect Ratio 4:3>Resolution 1440x1080, and no it wasn't there to begin with, and for 4k people it should be something else like 2560x1920 1920x1440 1440x1920. Which ever you chose. and your done! Have fun!
