Fatum Betula - Ending Guide

A guide to achieving all 9 endings of Fatum Betula, alongside bonus content.

Ending 0: Nothing

This ending is completed by achieving the following steps.

Collecting vials from church guy.
Travelling right in the hub to the lake.
Collecting the sword stuck in the tree.
Sleeping the bed in the middle of the lake.
Cutting the noose in the nightmare next to the fisherman's grave using the sword.
Talking to the ghost and taking the fruit.
Feeding the fruit to the beast in the hub.
Using a flask to collect "Poison" from the beast's body.
Using "Poison" on the water of the birch.

Ending 1: Parasites

This ending is completed by achieving the following steps.

Collecting vials from church guy.
Travelling right in the hub to the lake.
Collecting the sword stuck in the tree.
Cutting the rope attached to the boat on the island.
Collecting the fishing rod from the boat.
Catching a blue fish in the lake.
Feeding the blue fish to the beast in the hub.
Using a flask to collect "Oil" from the beast's pot.
Using "Oil" on the water of the birch.

Ending 2: Murderers

This ending is completed by achieving the following steps.

Method 1.
Collecting vials from church guy.
Travelling right in the hub to the lake.
Collecting the sword stuck in the tree.
Killing the beast in the hub using the sword.
Collecting "Beast Blood" from the beast's body.
Using "Beast Blood" on the water of the birch.

Throwing the jarred painting at the NPC outside the lake house next to the tree.
Collecting "Liquid Bone" from the NPC's pot.
Placing "Liquid Bone" and "Beast Blood" in a water source after one another to form "Plant Growth".
Travelling to the Ocean and collecting the key from the broken church.
Using "Plant Growth" on the leaves jutting off of the ground in Autumn.
Following the new path to the church, and throwing the key at the church door.
Using a flask to collect "Wine" from the barrel against the church wall.
Using "Wine" on the water of the birch.

Sleeping in the bed in the middle of the lake.
Throwing the jarred painting at the NPC outside the lake house next to the tree.
Collecting "Liquid Bone" from the NPC's pot.
Placing "Liquid Bone" and "Beast Blood" in a water source after one another to form "Plant Growth".
Travelling to the Ocean and collecting the key from the broken church.
Using "Plant Growth" on the leaves jutting off of the ground in Autumn.
Following the new path to the church, and throwing the key at the church door.
Entering and exiting the church, and walking around to the back of the church, here a moon may spawn. The chance is random, so enter and exit the church, checking behind each time, until the moon spawns.
Interacting with the moon, and interacting with the moon again in the new location.
Walking forwards, up the stairs and interact with the NPC.
Using a flask collect "Free Will" from the stream of liquid coming from the sky.
Using "Free Will" on the water of the birch.

"Secret Ending" (Unnamed)

This ending is completed by achieving the following steps.

Saving the game using the save menu by pressing F5 while in game.
Navigating to your save files located under "C:\Users\<profile>\AppData\LocalLow\Bryce Bucher\Fatum Betula"
Editing the string of one of the liquids in the save file to "Secret".

to
"liquid3":{"__type":"System.String","value":"Secret"}
Using "Secret" on the water of the birch.

Huge thanks to steam user Cozy for showing the file path for the save files.

I had trouble locating these files even with Cozy's instructions, I found the files by running "%appdata%", going back to AppData, and navigating to the Fatum Betula saves from there following the instructions.

The Three Additional Achievements

Recursive Vision.
There are fish in the nightmare, in the pond to the left of the entrance to the lake area.
Catch one of these and feed it to the beast to earn this achievement.

My existence is impossible.
In the nightmare, visit the back, left corner from the entrance of the area, where a tree stands next to an NPC.
Interact with that NPC to earn this achievement.

Ezekiel Event.
Interacting with an NPC that spawns in the underwater church (the area where the key spawns) in the ocean.
This NPC is a random spawn, simply enter the ocean, check the church, and leave if the NPC is not there. Repeat until the NPC spawns.

@rekhyt Honestly its not bad, in this type of games its kinda common and creates this shock factor upon finding it without any guide or anything and thats the charm, the mystery of those RNG elements in these games

thanks for the helpful guide. btw if you find the secret ending by falling off of the map behind the beast and then talking to the creator, the npc that spawns the door back is actually and easter egg of the character Skully from the Haunted PS1 game compilations!

hello! I'm having issues with the secret ending. I can't grab the liquid from the guy's face, and I can't seem to open the save files. does anyone know what I can use to open them?

There's another way to get the secret ending, I got it totally by accident when I was was walking against the wall behind the beast trying to find the ocean because I didn't know where it was, then I walked up the little hill behind him and fell off the map. The game teleported me to a strange place where there as a cube with the creator's face and I tried to feed him poison and accidentaly picked the "secret" with the flask.

After talkint to him he directs you to a skeleton wearing a suit and talking to him he spawns the door to go back to the birch tree.

In the secret ending video he too says that he noticed that walking up the little hill next to the beast makes you fall off the map, but he decided to keep it.
