trivia
  • you can use EX-weapons and Infinity Ammo while getting the medals; Short Sword can make various knife-kills easier
  • difficulty doesn't matter, but is preferably to play on Normal, because on Casual some enemies do not spawn, making getting some medals problematic
  • hoard lots of supplies (especially various sub-weapons) - you will need lots of resources for some medals
  • do not hunt for medals until you unlocked all the skills - unlocking all skills will make your life way easier
  • there is no way to know which medals you have got in a current play-through until you finished the level
  • you don't need to get all medals at once (in a single run), you can, for example, get all gold medals in one lap, then replay the episode and obtain the remaining medals
  • some medals' task correspond to the achievements, so getting all medals will pretty much cover 70% of all in-game achievements
episode 1 - Claire
Maps
those maps are from kouryakutsushin[kouryakutsushin.com] site - a Japanese wiki project that catalogues information regarding various games, including but not limited to, Resident Evil Revelations 1/2, Resident Evil 5/6, Operation Racoon City, Final Fantasy XIII, Persona, Xenoblade. site has lots of detailed information for those games: lists, data-tables, maps and other useful records. check it out!

(1) Knocked down an enemy five times by blinding them with the light, then hitting them with a physical attack
related achievement: Fudge Them Up
  • switch to Moira, use her flashlight to fully stun an enemy, switch to Claire, use her follow-up attack (leg-attack) to knock enemy down, repeat few more times
  • attacking lying enemies with a follow-up attack doesn't count, as well attacking them with the knife
  • no need to kill enemy or fully charge a follow-up attack, you just need to knock an enemy down
  • you can keep stunning and attacking the same enemy multiple times - game records it as a multiple knocking down

(2) Defeated eight enemies with rotating blades
related achievement: Who Needs Fire?
  • at the end of episode you insert a cog into a mechanism and escape, while being chased by numerous enemies. game hints you to use a flamethrower and burn pursuers...
  • ...instead make both Moira and Claire to crouch and hide under a rotating blade in the corner. if done right - all enemies will met an agonizing end in the rotating blades
  • is quite easy to lose a count of killed enemies, but thankfully enemies will spawn non-stop in this area, so you can just wait a bit to be sure
  • you get a "Who Needs Fire?" when you open the door and escape from Detention center
  • that strat is extremely useful in Countdown mode because Barry/Natalia will not to disable a working flamethrower and can easily exit the facility, saving you about 1:30-2:00 of time

(3) Stunned ten enemies with Moira's flashlight
related achievement: Flashlight Duty
  • upgrade "Light is Might" skill to make your run easier
  • switch to Moira, use her flashlight to fully stun an enemy - that will count toward that medal
  • you can keep stunning the same enemy over and over until you get the needed amount of stuns

(4) Defeated eight enemies with sub-weapons
related achievement: Fish in a Barrel
  • half the chapter you will find a decomposing room filled with Whip-spiders, line those spiders in a huge number (preferably 5 and more) and throw a Bottle into them 2 times, that's it
  • help Moira to get above and place her close to the edge. Whip-spider will helplessly try to attack her and group together
  • there is at least two Exploding Bottles in the facility you can collect to use (see screenshots)

(5) Defeated three enemies using stealth attacks
related achievement: From the Shadows
  • there is a hallway leading to a decomposing room with two Afflicted and one IronHead in it
  • walk to the other side of hallway (so enemies will face their backs to you), crouch and accurately kill them all without an alert

(6) Defeated eight enemies with a headshot
  • very obvious. use guns with high-accuracy and less recoil, like handgun or bowgun
  • in the very end of the episode, before you open the door and leave a facility enemies will spawn non-stop, so if you missed few headshots you can easily get them here

(7) Found three treasures
  • treasures are various gems that give you few BP at the end of a level (Diamond, Emerald, Ruby, Sapphire, Topaz)
  • treasure might be located in wooden boxes, being hidden as shiny objects, placed in Military Boxes, even placed on the walls and ceilings - doesn't matter where and in what form you got them, just find at least the needed amount

(8) Killed ten whip spiders
  • read "Defeated eight enemies with sub-weapons" medal above
  • for that specific medal you can use any weapon you like, including a firearm, knife and crowbar

(9) Opened three Military Boxes
  • check the maps above, the Military Boxes are shown as icons
  • opening Military Boxes is basically a cold-and-hot game where you shall deduct where a weak spot (green area) in a box is
  • Military Box contains a Weapon Part, Expansion Bag or Extra Ammo Case in a first opening and then ammo or treasure in the following opening

(10) Found six hidden items with Moira
  • check the maps above, the Hidden Items are shown as icons
  • the content of most Hidden Items is either random ammo or a treasure, however some Hidden Items have predetermined items
  • to locate Hidden Items use Moira's flashlight
episode 1 - Barry
Maps
those maps are from kouryakutsushin[kouryakutsushin.com] site - a Japanese wiki project that catalogues information regarding various games, including but not limited to, Resident Evil Revelations 1/2, Resident Evil 5/6, Operation Racoon City, Final Fantasy XIII, Persona, Xenoblade. site has lots of detailed information for those games: lists, data-tables, maps and other useful records. check it out!

(1) Defeated 5 Revenants by only hitting their weak spots
  • switch to Natalia, mind where Revenant's weak (bright) spot is, switch back to Barry, shot in that place to expose the weak spot, then shoot into the weak spot itself to defeat a Revenant
  • shooting at anything but his weak spot and its cover (limb/head), including hitting his metal weapon, will count against that medal
  • using Natalia's bricks to expose Revenant's weak spot counts, but be careful not to hit his other body parts

(2) Didn't fire a gun in the detention center control area
related achievement: Cutting Edge
  • Detention center starts when Natalia tells Barry about her ability of seeing monsters behind the walls, and ends when they both are out from the Facility and head to Radio Tower
  • you can use bricks and knife only; you can't use firearms or sub-weapons
  • if you accidentally have used a firearm, then you need to restart the whole episode - retrying from the checkpoint doesn't work
  • AI-controlled Barry can fire the guns, it doesn't prevent you from getting the medal
  • few tips to make that medal easier: a) do not use a flamethrower while playing Claire's part of episode (see "Defeated 8 enemies with rotating blades" medal above), b) use Natalia to dash diagonally to the alcove near the rotating blades, then dash forward (see screenshots) - AI-Barry will get a critical damage but will pass through. with those strats you can finish the whole Detention Center in 3 minutes

(3) Hit enemies with Natalia's bricks 15 times
related achievement: Brick Layer
  • pickup lying bricks and throw at the enemies; no need to kill them, just hit
  • you can hit the same enemy with the same (or different) brick - it will count as multiple "hits"
  • hitting a lying enemy who was knocked down by a brick does not count (in other words - if your brick managed to knock down an enemy, then wait until he get up before hitting him again). probably it is an error/bug in programming; weirdly but progress for "Brick Layer" counts correctly either way, but not for a medal
  • hitting a Revenant into a weak spot (and exposing it) sometimes counts as "two hits"
  • at the end of episode there is non-stop Revenant spawner and seven bricks - raise a counter here if you missed few hits

(4) Defeated 2 enemies with a follow up attack
related achievement: And STAY Down
  • either use Natalia's bricks, or shoot him a few times, or knife it a bit - one way or another but make an enemy to fall down, then use Barry's knife-impaling attack and kill him
  • Barry's chargeable "throwing punch" does not count toward that medal, despite being, technically, a follow-up attack
  • the best enemies for that medal is numerous Zombies you can find in Detention Center; Revenants are quite troublesome to make them follow-up-able

(5) Defeated 8 enemies with sub-weapons
  • in the beginning there will be numerous Whip-Spiders, group them together and throw a sub-weapons to kill up to 5 at once
  • also, quite a lot of Zombies are stay close together in Detention Center, as well as Revenants near Sawmill

(6) Defeated 6 enemies with a stealth attack
related achievement: From the Shadows
  • easy to obtain with the Zombies in Detention Center (where Natalia explains her abilities), there is four Zombies facing back at you on the first floor, one more after to ladder and three more that you can track and hunt down
  • also, you can silently kill few Revenants in the forest and near Sawmill
  • if that is not the case, then use a Smokescreen bottle against Revenants to confuse them, walk behind and easily kill them

(7) Defeated 6 enemies with the knife
related achievement: Knifin' Around
  • quite obvious medal with a nasty catch: using knife-impaling follow-up (see "Defeated 2 enemies with a follow up attack" medal above) does not count. it doesn't matter that Barry actually using knife here - game logic tells it is a not a pure "knife kill"
  • after slashing enemy few times with a knife it can get stunned, wait until he quit the stun, or otherwise Barry will throw a punch that doesn't count toward the medal
  • Whip-spiders do not count

(8) Opened 2 Gimmick Boxes
  • check the maps above, the Gimmick Boxes are shown as icons
  • read about Moira's Military Boxes above

(9) Found 6 hidden items with Natalia
  • check the maps above, the Hidden Items are shown as icons
  • read about Moira's Hidden Items above

(10) Escaped from the darkness of the forest, starting from the detour hut, within 40 seconds
  • the timer starts after Barry exits the hut and Natalia starts the dialogue with him and ends when you advance to the next location
  • travel the forest as Barry, you can't get that medal if you use Natalia (because of few triggers)
episode 2 - Claire

(1) Knocked down an enemy 5 times by blinding them with the light, then hitting them with a physical attack
related achievement: Fudge Them Up
  • same deal as in Episode 1

(2) Cleared the siege in the bar without any of the windows being broken
  • that task is easier on Casual difficulty, because windows have more health here
  • mind that enemies may destroy the windows, but it is not allowed that they have touched a windowsill

(3) Stunned 10 enemies with Moira's flashlight
related achievement: Flashlight Duty
  • same deal as in Episode 1

(4) Defeated 8 enemies with sub-weapons
  • same deal as in Episode 1
  • in that episode you have way more sub-weapons than in previous one, so you don't need any extra trick to meet the quota
  • the good spot to raise kills is the assault in the village (after Pedro has mutated) - just climb up the ladder and throw sub-weapons to enemies below; alternatively line-up and blow-up few dogs
  • there is 2 decoy bottles, 5 empty bottles, 2 odorous chemical and 3 gunpowder in the Village alone (see "Created 3 sub-weapons by combining items" medal for the details)

(5) Defeated 3 enemies using the stealth attack
related achievement: From the Shadows
  • a bit tricky medal, because there is no much opportunity for stealth kills
  • if you are lucky you can stealth-kill first IronHead close to the bar who will appear when siren raise up
  • you can stealth-kill another IronHead in the building after splitting up with Neil - first alarm him, then runaway (make him lose you), then wait an appropriate moment and kill him
  • three more available stealth-kills are around the bus: 2 IronHeads and one Afflicted; beware of sleeping dogs

(6) Defeated 8 enemies with a headshot
  • same deal as in Episode 1

(7) Created 3 sub-weapons by combining items
  • there is 5 empty bottles, 2 odorous chemical and 3 gunpowder in the Village; collect them all and combine and will more that fulfill the task
  • a bottle and a chemical inside the bar
  • a second bottle in a building close to the bar
  • a gunpowder is behind the bar
  • a third bottle and second gunpowder in the building with a Battery
  • a fourth bottle in south building with two entrances
  • a third gunpowder in the building close to the chopper area
  • a fifth bottle and second chemical in the chopper area

(8) Opened 3 military boxes
  • check the maps above, the Military Boxes are shown as icons

(9) Found 6 hidden items with Moira
  • check the maps above, the Hidden Items are shown as icons

(10) Escaped from the village without taking damage from Mutant Pedro
related achievement: Pedro, I'm Sorry...
  • a bit tricky but overly easy. use a bar counter to avoid any Pedro's attacks and just walk in circle keeping him on the opposite site of counter
  • when door will be broken just stay away from Pedro as far as you can and wait until Neil drop down a ladder
  • there is nice trick that you can in Countdown mode to save yourself some time and might be useful to avoid Pedro's attacks. rush to the place where Claire helped Moira to get a Battery and help her climb the wall one more time, switch to to the Moira and jump down into the building, switch back to the Claire and press "use" button one more time to help Moira climb the building one more time and repeat until Neil arrive. enemies cannot attack you during the animations (and countdown time doesn't tick), so you do that segment easily
  • or, alternatively, just kill Pedro with few powerful shots, however it will mess with Barry's medal progress
episode 2 - Barry
Maps
those maps are from kouryakutsushin[kouryakutsushin.com] site - a Japanese wiki project that catalogues information regarding various games, including but not limited to, Resident Evil Revelations 1/2, Resident Evil 5/6, Operation Racoon City, Final Fantasy XIII, Persona, Xenoblade. site has lots of detailed information for those games: lists, data-tables, maps and other useful records. check it out!

(1) Defeat 5 Revenants by only hitting their weak spots
  • same deal as in Episode 1

(2) Defeated Mutant Pedro by destroying all of his eyes
  • first thing first - while playing Claire's part of episode do not kill Pedro, then you will met him in the apartment building
  • switch to Natalia and mind where his weak spot is, switch back to Barry and shot in that spot with some low-damage weapon
  • switch back to Natalia and mind the next weak spot's location, back to Barry and proceed in the same way until all 6 eyes are destroyed
  • the hardest part of this medal is that Pedro can die before you hit all his weak spots. so, play on at least Normal difficulty and make sure your weapons are not too powerful
  • double-sure you shot exactly at his weak spots - his eyes are very close to each other, you may accidentally shot in the wrong one
  • Pedro sometimes does a ram attack and get stuck into the wall - that is a good moment to shoot his eyes out

(3) Hit enemies with Natalia's brick 15 times
related achievement: Brick Layer
  • same deal as in Episode 1

(4) Defeated 2 enemies with a follow up attack
related achievement: And STAY Down
  • that, arguably, the trickiest medal in the game. as you may know, a follow-up attack in that case counts as "knife-impaling attack" that Barry does on the lying enemy. the bad news is that in that episode Barry does not met zombies and so there is no enemies to do a follow-up against
  • first possible solution - find a Slinger enemy (he throws a tentacle-like projectiles) and make him hit a Revenant. if done right then a Revenant will be knocked down and you be able to do a follow-up against him
  • the second solution (and probably the indented way) is to throw an Exploding Bottle next to a Revenant and hope that it will knock him down (better to play on at least Normal difficulty then)

(5) Defeated 8 enemies with sub-weapons
  • same deal as in Episode 1
  • overly it is quite stubborn but doable task for two reasons: the episode is not generous for the sub-weapons (you need to bring them with you) and there is not that many places where you can kill multiple enemies at once
  • one good place is the woods in the beginning, there is sometimes up to 3 Revenants in one place, group them together and throw a Firebomb
  • another sweet place is the underground tunnel with 4 dogs
  • also it is quite easy to kill Glasps with a single bottle even if they quite away from a center of explosion

(6) Defeated 6 enemies using the stealth attack
related achievement: From the Shadows
  • same deal as in Episode 1
  • read "Defeated 5 Revenants using the stealth attack in the city warehouse" medal below
  • you can raise few stealth-kills in the woods; lots of Revenants here are not protecting their backs
  • you can also find a Smokescreen Bottle near the house, which might be useful to stealth-killing few Revenants (but better to save it for the Warehouse, read below)

(7) Defeated 6 enemies with the knife
related achievement: Knifin' Around
  • same deal as in Episode 1
  • dogs do count toward that medal, so kill them before anything else
  • for Revenants - look for those enemies who have weak spot on their legs, they are easier to kill with a broad slash

(8) Opened 3 Gimmick Boxes
  • check the maps above, the Gimmick Boxes are shown as icons

(9) Found 6 hidden items with Natalia
  • check the maps above, the Hidden Items are shown as icons

(10) Defeated 5 Revenants using the stealth attack in the city warehouse
  • the City Warehouse starts when characters enter the building with a ladder and ends when they are outside (see screenshots)
  • there is 6 Revenants total in the building, one of them is available only if you have a Drill
  • first 3 Revenants are quite easy to stealth-kill, just need patience and right timing
  • the last 2 Revenants in the big open area with cargo. they appear only after you enter that room and walk half-through it. before entering that room take down a Slinger (with a sniper rifle) to make sure he didn't mess with your progress
  • when 2 Revenants appear, either walk back the way you came and wait for a good opportunity to take them down, or use Smokescreen Bottle and kill them easily
episode 3 - Claire

(1) Knocked down an enemy 5 times by blinding them with the light, then hitting them with a physical attack
related achievement: Fudge Them Up
  • same deal as in episode 1 & 2

(2) Escaped the factory with only 1 minute left
  • the wording of that task is off, it should have mean "escaped the factory with at least 1 minute left", in other words timer must show anything from 1:00:01 to 4:00:00 left
  • the task is quite easy and you may get it without any extra efforts in your first walkthrough, really wonder why it counts as gold medal
  • with good timing and knowing where to go the timer will show ~2:30:00 left, so you have lots of room for mistakes and being sloppy

(3) Stunned 20 enemies with Moira's flashlight
related achievement: Flashlight Duty
  • same deal as in episode 1 & 2

(4) Defeated 10 enemies with sub-weapons
  • same deal as in episode 1 & 2
  • with all possible crafting you can get up to 6 sub-weapons in that level, so you might need to take some supplies with you for that task
  • the good spot to complete that task is a part where enemies chasing you in the Butchery (when Alex says, "can't you hear Prometheus crying out?)
  • another good spot in the sewer where you lower-down the dam - there is bunch of enemies you can lure from the water and blow up with some sub-weapon
  • one more good spot is near the end of sewer, hide one character in the alcove where you need to crouch, then use a second character to trigger and lure enemies to the first character. if done right you can kill up to five enemies at once without a risk of getting damage (see screenshots)

(5) Defeated 3 enemies using the stealth attack
related achievement: From the Shadows
  • same deal as in episode 1 & 2
  • a bit tricky task with, originally, no clear way how to do it because there is no enemies you can actually stealth-kill in the game
  • in order to complete that task you need to blow-up fire-extinguisher, then walk behind enemies back and stealth-kill them. there is 2 fire-extinguisher at the Plant and 2 more at the Butchery, so you have enough opportunity to do it right
  • alternatively, you can do the following. at the Plant you find a room with spiked ceiling, lure enemies closer to the door leading to that room and enter it, now exit back to the enemies. if done right that enemies will stay still for 1-2 seconds, not seeing you and giving you enough time to walk behind and stealth-kill them

(6) Defeated 8 enemies with a headshot
  • same deal as in episode 1 & 2

(7) Created 5 sub-weapons by combining items
  • same deal as in episode 2
  • during the episode you can find the following items:
    • Outside: alcohol x1
    • Plant, 1st floor: alcohol x1, chemical x1, bottle x1
    • Plant, 2nd floor: gunpowder x2, chemical x1, bottle x1
    • Butchery: bottle x1, chemical x1, gunpowder x2
    • Sewer, before the sluice: alcohol x1
    • Sewer, after the sluice: alcohol x2, bottle x1
    • Graveyard: bottle x2, gunpowder x1, alcohol x1

(8) Created 5 recovery items by combining items
  • during the episode you can find the following items:
    • Outside: alcohol x1
    • Plant, 1st floor: cloth x1, alcohol x1
    • Plant, 2nd floor: herb x2
    • Butchery: red herb x1, cloth x1
    • Winecellar: herb x1
    • Sewer, before the sluice: cloth x1, alcohol x1, red herb x1
    • Sewer, after the sluice: alcohol x2, herb x1
    • Graveyard: alcohol x1
    • Elevator area: herb x2, red herb x1

(9) Opened 4 Military Boxes
  • check the maps above, the Military Boxes are shown as icons

(10) Found 7 hidden items with Moira
  • check the maps above, the Hidden Items are shown as icons
episode 3 - Barry

(1) Defeated 3 Revenants by only hitting their weak spots
  • same deal as in episode 1 & 2
  • a bit tough task because there is only 8 Revenants in that level, and you still need to kill some of them stealthy for "Defeated 4 enemies using the stealth attack" medal. probably you need to concentrate on one task first and then replay the episode and do another one

(2) Cleared the episode without destroying any of the Dhurlga tentacles
  • it could have been a very tough task if not a very nifty trick that makes it a breeze
  • when the first Dhurlga appear, throw a Smokescreen Bottle to confuse it, then walk behind him and do a stealth-kill. you will not kill it and Dhurlga will get up few seconds later. while Smokescreen is still on, do a second stealth-kill. on Casual difficulty it will be enough to scare Dhurlga away. on other difficulties you need to repeat that trick one more time
  • if done right then Dhurlga will escape the battle with all tentacles in-place
  • the second time Dhurlga attacks near the end of the level; instead of fighting him, just throw a Smokescreen Bottle and, while he is confused, just escape

(3) Hit enemies with Natalia's brick 15 times
related achievement: Brick Layer
  • same deal as in episode 1 & 2

(4) Defeated 3 enemies with a follow up attack
related achievement: And STAY Down
  • same deal as in episode 1 & 2
  • thankfully there is lots of Zombies in the sewer, so you need no extra tricks, some Zombies lying on the ground by default, so you will not have an issue with that task at all

(5) Defeated 10 enemies with sub-weapons
  • same deal as in episode 1 & 2
  • sewer is the best place to get it because of multiple Whip-spiders. you can even fulfill that task with 2 good throws

(6) Defeated 4 enemies using the stealth attack
related achievement: From the Shadows
  • same deal as in episode 1 & 2
  • a bit tough task because there is only 8 Revenants in the whole episode (and Zombies just don't let you to stealth-kill them)
  • actively use Smokescreen Bottle to confuse Revenants and safely kill them and don't hesitate to retry from a checkpoint of your plan is foiled
  • the two Revenants on a higher level are quite easy to kill without Smokescreen Bottle
  • there is 2 Smokepowder and 4 Bottles on that level, so you quite probably need to bring extra supplies with you

(7) Defeated 10 enemies with the knife
related achievement: Knifin' Around
  • same deal as in episode 1 & 2
  • Zombies and Dogs are your friends in that task, just slash them all and call it a day

(8) Opened 3 Gimmick Boxes
  • check the maps above, the Gimmick Boxes are shown as icons

(9) Found 5 hidden items with Natalia
  • check the maps above, the Hidden Items are shown as icons

(10) Cleared the sewage treatment plant with Natalia taking no damage
  • Natalia shall not take the following types of damages: from any hostile attack, from fire/explosions (from bottles/barrels) even if she didn't take a real damage (just a flinch is enough), from the falling (always use a ladder), friendly fire from any types of bottles
  • there will be seven enemies on Natalia's way:
    • enemy next to second valve
    • enemy on the bridge between a third and fourth valves
    • sneaky enemy in the small room
    • enemy next to rugged metal rail on which Natalia will climb up
    • enemy on the bridge above fourth valve
    • and two enemies next to fifth valve
episode 4 - Claire

(1) Cleared the episode with 100% accuracy rate
  • to get 100% accuracy you need to use either only knife or sub-weapons (using any of which doesn't reduce accuracy at all); of course you are free to use firearm, but be sure that every single round hit the enemy - for that reason do not use a shotgun because of high spread
  • you can destroy locks on the door with knife

(2) Defeat 1 Glasp with a knife
related achievement: "I Do Not Like Glasps," I Gasped
  • a bit amusing task, pickup the a Smokescreen Bottle (there is one in a crate right before the first Glasp), throw in front of you, run to the Glasp and slash like a barbarian
  • better to do it on Casual difficulty, because on other ones Glasps are more aggresive

(3) Opened 2 Military Boxes
  • check the maps above, the Military Boxes are shown as icons

(4) Cleared the episode with no retries
  • self-explanatory; beware both Glasps and falling down from the monument (when outside)
  • retrying from checkpoint is not allowed too
  • there is a chance that Glasp will kill you during "Defeat 1 Glasp with a knife" medal, so it might not be possible to get both at once

(5) Defeated 3 Glasps
related achievement: What You Can't See Can Kill You
  • there is 4 Glasps on Casual difficulty and 7 on higher ones
    • 2 Glasps on the same floor right after the locked door
    • 2 more Glasps on the floor below
    • 1 Glasp outside near moving box (not on Casual)
    • 2 Glasps in the final room, in the middle section (not on Casual)

(6) Escaped the monument with more than 15 seconds to spare
  • it means there is must be at least 15 second left at the moment when a cutscene with Moira get crashed start playing
  • the timer when Claire jumps into the water doesn't matter

(7) Killed 5 indigenous animals
  • there is two types of indigenous animals: rats and crows, 8 total
    • 2 rats are running on the bridge leading to the room with workbench (very easy to miss)
    • 1 rat near the workbench
    • 1 rat next to the locked door
    • 1 rat right after the locked door
    • 1 crow on the ledge below when you exit outside
    • 2 crows near Military Box

(8) Found 4 treasures
  • the same deal as in episode 1
  • 3 treasures are guarantee to be located in a certain places
    • at the beginning, behind a ladder
    • in the Alex's room, in the chair
    • outside, on the slope
  • more gems you can find in the vases and boxes

(9) Found all of the Tower Emblems
  • there is three of them
    • at the right of the room with Alex
    • outside, at the beggining, behind the slope
    • in final room, at the middle section

(10) Cleared the episode within 20 minutes
  • you can finish that episode in less than 10 minites even with lots of sloppiness. current speedrun record[www.speedrun.com] on Normal difficulty is 7:20 done by @soulless_persona
episode 4 - Barry

(1) Defeated 10 Revenants by only hitting their weak spots
  • the same deal as in episode 1, 2 & 3
  • in the final Mansion-like area you will find lots of Revenants in the tubes, they are easiest targets for that medal

(2) Defeated Alex in the mine sub-level without taking damage
  • your character shall not take damage during the first battle with Alex (not the one from good ending)
  • it sounds quite straightforward, but that medal has a nasty catch - at some point Alex will scream, "Natalia! Vile Imposter!" and start attacking her - if Natalia get a damage during that part - you will not receive a medal
  • probably the easiest way to get the medal is say Natalia to wait near the door, grab Chicago Typewriter and shoot the hell out of Alex before she even attacked anybody

(3) Hit enemies with Natalia's brick 15 times
related achievement: Brick Layer
  • the same deal as in episode 1, 2 & 3

(4) Defeated 5 enemies with a follow up attack
related achievement: And STAY Down
  • the same deal as in episode 1, 2 & 3
  • not as easy to do as in episode 3, but doable. lots of Zombies are waiting for you in the beginning and in the Mines (beware of gas). Zombies before the crane and right after it are, probably, the easiest targets

(5) Defeated 10 enemies with sub-weapons
  • the same deal as in episode 1, 2 & 3
  • Zombies in the mines tend to group together, with one successful throw you can kill up to 6 at once

(6) Defeated 5 enemies using the stealth attack
related achievement: From the Shadows
  • the same deal as in episode 1, 2 & 3
  • if you lucky you can stealth-kill first two Zombies of episode
  • the majority of kills are, of course, Revenants. those in Mines will notice you upfront and give no opportunity to stealth-kill them - need to use a Smokescreen Bottle against them
  • at least 3 Revenants in the Mansion are stealth-killable without a Smokescreen Bottle

(7) Defeated 10 enemies with the knife
related achievement: Knifin' Around
  • the same deal as in episode 1, 2 & 3
  • Zombies are best targets (as usual)

(8) Opened 3 Gimmick Boxes
  • check the maps above, the Gimmick Boxes are shown as icons

(9) Found 10 hidden items with Natalia
  • check the maps above, the Hidden Items are shown as icons

(10) Cleared the level by moving the crane no more than 3 times
  • place Natalia on the platform, Barry pulls #1 lever
  • get Natalia off from the platform, climb the ladder and stand on the crane itself, Barry pulls #3 lever
  • use Natalia to drop the ladder for Barry, get back to the crane, Barry gets up and goes to the opposite side and pulls #5 lever
  • use Natalia to drop another ladder for Barry

Nice guide, i got all medals only to add that two were a "hassle" in my opinion: barry medal of episode 2 for lethal kills, only can be done with revenants with the weak spot on the head. Final boss mutated alex on episode 4, i did it at first on easy dificulty leaving natalia on the side of the door crouching, using some throwing items and magnum shooting on weak spots do the job.

Update: I got the episode 4 medal, even though Alex hit Natalia and I restarted 3 times. Barry never got hit once though. I recommend bringing some bottles to make finishing her easier.

I am not sure, tbh, I didn't try it =/

But sadly for the achievement we need to get gold medal for both characters :( so yeah I think I'm gonna get those for episodes 1 and 4 only. Another question since this level is too long and tiring, if Alex damages Barry or Natalia, and I retry the checkpoint, will it void the medal?

I guess all Claire's episodes are significantly easier than Barry's to get all medals. I bet Claire-4 is the easiest episode among all (solely because it is very short). among Barry's ones I would say Barry-1 is the easiest

Okay, thanks for the information! In your opinion, which episodes are the best to get all medals? I have all except one in episode 1 (need the whip spiders lmao) and in episode 4, I only need 10 revenant weak spots and no damage Alex fight.
