How-to install mods for Blade & Sorcery [U9] [2021-2023]

In this guide I will provide you with a step by step guide on how to install mods for Blade & Sorcery.

The video will be a walkthrough through all the steps. [UNAVAILABLE]

The steps

1. Navigate to Blade & Sorcery in your library and right click -> properties
2. Click "Local files" and choose "Browse local files"
3. -> BladeAndSorcery_Data -> StreamingAssets -> Mods
(Another possible directory: C:\Program Files\Oculus\Software\Software\warpfrog-blade-sorcery\BladeAndSorcery_Data\StreamingAssets\Mods
4. "Mods" is the new folder where you will be installing your mods to, so leave that open.
5. Go to your browser and enter nexusmods.com/bladeandsorcery (Link[nexusmods.com]) (make sure that you have an account and are logged in! Otherwise you cannot download mods from Nexus)
6. Choose the mod of your liking, click on it and press "manual" and after that: Slow download. (MAKE SURE THE MOD YOU ARE CHOOSING IS MADE FOR THE CURRENT VERSION YOU ARE PLAYING!)
7. After you've downloaded your mod, preferably: right click on the zip and hit extract to [MOD NAME] and the mod folder should be created on top of "Downloads" in your file explorer.
8. Move the folder to "Mods"

Possible fixes if it is not working

• Make sure you have moved the mod to "Mods" folder instead of "Streamingassets"

• Make sure an subfolder was not created within the "Mods" folder (this often happens if you decide to extracting a mod from it's archive

• You might see an subfolder instead of the the whole mod: simply move the mod folder up one level and placing it in "Mods"

• Make sure you have not just moved the zip file to the "Mods" folder because then it is not extracted and will not work

• If the download button isnt working try this plugin

If downloading isn't working:
• Are you blocking JavaScript?
  
• Do you have a pihole or content block via vpn running?
  
• Do you have any of the same extensions in the browsers you tested, or did you disable them in your attempts?
  
• Try right clicking the download link and opening in new tab
