The 3-5-2 used by Juventus in their Undefeated Season.

TL;DR: Goals and assists spread evenly throughout your midfield and strikers, sturdy defense, high possession, yet flexible and able to deal with many situations.



The 3-5-2 utilized by Juventus in their undefeated campaign and are still using. Strong defensively, and wicked in attack, with players assisting from many areas of the pitch. Throughballs, crosses, middle, wide, set piece, whatever. You will score all kinds of goals, retain possession, and get many different kinds of assists. Goals will also be spread out between your strikers and midfielers. Very fun tactic to use.

Typically you will want the DM role to be set to either a regista or a deep lying playmaker as played by Andrea Pirlo. Although obviously you can use this tactic with any club, make sure to sign a very good Regista/Playmaker Defensive Midfielder to properly and fully utilize this tactic. The central midfielders you can be flexible with their roles, but typically, and if you want it to be like Juventus, you would want two box-to-box midfielders, or a combination of Central Mid with attack, and a ball winning midfielder to shield the Deep Lying Playmaker/Regista.

Your side midfielders should always be set to be Defensive Wingers, typically support role. It's encouraged to sign pacey, workmanlike players for this role, along with high stats in tackling, dribbling, crossing, stamina, and positioning. They are essentially box to box midfielders with a more predefined role. You will also want to set the individual player intructions for these players to stick to the touchline, and to dribbling with the ball more.

Your strikers should be a combination of support and attack. I typically use a Llorente type target man set to support, with Tevez being a complete striker. I encourage you to experiment though with the strikers, as it can be advantageous to use an Advanced Forward who swings to the wings and dishes out crosses, which can be really unsettling and confusing for the opposition.


Note: If the tactic doesn't automatically include the instructions, I'll re-upload it. Other wise, you will want More expression, shorter passing, play from defense, work ball into box, higher tempo, narrow width, play through middle, hassle opponents, offside trap. When playing against a team that is pressing you hard and leaving spaces, go ahead and switch to direct passing, play into space.

I also haven't tested this with lower level teams. Though, I am currently undefeated using this tactic and have won Serie A already, and am still undefeated going into my next season.
