For instance, the gold achievement for mission 12 is really easy if you build up your army and rush any wizards and rangers before the ogre has to deal with them. Leave him the guards to play with, they'll slow him down while you rush ahead with your army and kill the damaging enemies. A naga or two doesn't hurt either. The silver one is pretty much impossible not to get as well
- Capture your first island of evilness asap. Here you can do it before the first wave of heroes reaches Crowley.
- Capure the second one in the mid east part of the map. It is better protected but your should be strong enough to get it at around 15 minute mark.
- You should probably ignore the last island as its not worth the time.
- Plan your army setup. My final comp when Crowley broke the gates was this: 1 Goblin, 2 Ironhides, 2 Nagas, 6 Imps, 3 Arachnids.
- Build a big mana-room and have the Meteor shower spell researched. And dont forget that you can empower it by holding lmb if you have exces mana.
Lifesaver: Despite the end screen showing less than 8 units lost, each individual zombie will count. They are too susceptible to AoE. Pull the zombies back before the final confrontation.
M17: Light and Shadow
I Need a Hero!: You'll only get this if enough heroes raid your dungeon, there aren't enough heroes out on the map unless you only kill some of the evil shrine guards and let them respawn. Therefore, you must IGNORE the southern hero town (and forgo Prison Break, you wont get enough invaders until it's almost too late, even if your army is in position for the final fight).
M18: Two Sides of a Medal:
Discoverer: Both need you to destroy some rocks to open up access. The first obelisk is close to the dungeon entrance. The second is up in the northwest. Cross the map below the hero city, then move up. A well-timed mana-shield will mitigate the cannon shots.
