This mod adds 24 pieces of original music to the game, loosely themed around European cultures. There are 11 themes, which cover the main European culture groups, and each theme comes in a peaceful variant and a warfare variant.
The music is contextual, so you will only hear the music relevant to the countries/cultures you are interacting with.


  • Admiralty - Britain
  • Chaos - Balkans
  • Commerce - Netherlands
  • Diplomacy - South Germany
  • Fertility - Poland
  • Imperialism - Russia
  • Nobility - France
  • Order - North Germany
  • Piety - Italy
  • Sovereignty - Scandinavia
  • Wonder - Iberia

There is also a main theme that comprises of a medley of all themes, and a bonus theme for the Byzantophiles.

@Jonas Check that you're exporting your .ogg music files with 44.1kHz frequency!

@Runite Drill Hi, I'm currently trying to make a little music mod, but have encountered a frustrating problem. In near every ogg file I have converted from mp3 there is a weird clicking sound (only when played in EU4).
Soo anyone who knows how to avoid this?
Should probably note that I've been using audacity to convert the files

@Arashi Yes! It will work perfectly fine with Ante Bellum. Parmelion himself uses it when he mods/plays. I have added it to the compatibility list!
