Description
This version keeps the original faction bar at the top. To the left you can still see a Manpower icon which shows how many armies you can field with the amount of men you have.

I have changed all text to English, updating spelling and grammar mistakes from the old translation as well as adding missing text.

TO DO:

1. Unit descriptions: I have updated a few but some only have a basic translation. In all there are over 3000 words here I need to replace but should have it done soon

2. TWO units have missing names, I believe this is a error in the main / original mod, will look into fixing it

In the latest update, you will need to start a new campaign as more cities have been added to the map.


Unify after long divide (UAD) is a complete overhaul mod


◆ UAD has added a huge number of famous military units and has made the first AOR (local recruitment system) in Three Kingdoms. You can occupy different regions to unlock special local troops. For example, any faction occupying Yizhou can recruit Yizhou archers from the local town. The units are no longer tied to the factions.

◆ Reinvented the morale system, there is now a huge gap between the militia to the regular army, the regular army to the elite from the maintenance cost to the combat effectiveness and morale. Militia will collapse easily under pressure. Players who use the militia as their main force will experience the real history of how peasant armies got annihilated by professional soldiers.

◆ Armored, densely packed infantry with long spears and halberds are now the core of the front lines. Men with swords and axes will struggle attacking them head on but are more mobile and better for flanking.

◆ Bows and arrows can hardly cause damage to heavily armored units from the front, but units with no armor will be decimated. Firing into the back of a unit will also cause heavy damage including heavily armored units.

◆ Trebuchets have been nerfed. You cannot depend on them to cheese your way to victory. We only recommend a small amount of trebuchet in siege troops.

1. Remade Map
In UAD, we reset the map of the game and based it on historical data. The population of each state and county across the entire map has been changed with each county also having its own characteristics with special buffs and debuffs according to what is actually written in the historical records.

2. Strategic Resources
Only in the North of China were high-quality warhorses bred so to recruit elite cavalry you will have to own those horse pastures. If you do not own these then you can only recruit basic militia cavalry. Also salt and iron were in high demand so you could make a lot of money owning these. There are plans to add more strategic resources.



Future plans include adding more historical facts, adding more to the AOR, rebuilding the wuxing (5 elements) system, a war support and spectacle mode.
Through various modifications, UAD strives to provide you with a brand new game and battlefield experience, giving you a more realistic and war-torn era of the Three Kingdoms, I hope everyone will enjoy!

Update from the creators of UAD:

Let’s talk about the current situation. CA has released a new (The Furious Wild) DLC, which has modified and changed the map which means all the big overhaul mods have been shut down and need to be updated. The UAD (Unity After Long Divide) team will complete the update as soon as possible. I will post new developments in the workshops and groups. In addition, I plan to post a large-scale UAD strategy and unit analysis / breakdown guide after the update is completed. After all, the current UAD mod has completely changed to how it was a year ago. Our mod started out simple and bare bones but now includes a unique population and manpower feature, overhauled realistic battles while military supplies can mean life or death for your armies as well as much more.

mod is absolutely amazing it is the best in workshop, combat is slow, long and difficult enemies tough. But mod needs some explanation or guide how everything works. farms resources man power and ext. all that needs short guide or explanation. If you can't do short guide for the mod i can try to do for you. if you could contact me we can discuss everything. Some kind of guide would massively help everyone with mod

I really want to love this mod. I love the population mechanic, I like that population is much more static and it makes a bigger difference in income. I like that every city is now named and is more than just a livestock farm. However it seems like while all the AI are fielding massive armies from turn 2, 3, your cities lose money until you get all the buildings built up, and every city you take then requires a huge investment as well. Most of the modifiers are untranslated, so I have no idea what the buildings do, exactly. It seems a tax office massively raises income, but again no idea why since it seems 3 different unnamed modifiers share the food icon.

My food is at a negative 100 pr more and I have no idea why. There are a bunch of zero's and nothing explaining "how" to fix it. Upgrading my farming estates doesn't fix it, and everyone else is able to field massive armies.
