TradeHelper

Description
Trade Helper is a small tool which expands the Trading Dialog and helps you trade in RimWorld. This includes:
- A Wish list: a configurable list of desired items, when a trader holds any matched items, these items will be clearly highlighted so you won't miss what you seek (especially handy when you are targeting certain goods).
- Items to be bought: clearly displays the items you are buying.
- Items to be sold: clearly displays the items you are selling (minimise the risk selling the wrong item).
- Slightly enhanced the Trading Dialog (mouse hover highlights etc).
- Enhanced the Caravan Dialog so it has similar features to the Trading dialog.

Compatability:
- Should work with most MODs as this only tweaks the Trading/Caravan UI;
- Work with existing saves;
- Requires Harmony.
- This Mod assumes your screen resolution is wider than 1300px as it adds 300px side space to the Trading/Caravan Dialogs.
- Incompatible with Trade UI Revised


Updates:
- 2020/06/03: fixed a small display issue.
- 2020/06/06: fixed a mod conflict.
- 2020/08/06: uploaded 2 language support packs.
- 2020/08/15: supports v1.2 now (not tested with Royalty though).
- 2020/08/16: fixed a conflict with mod RimThemes.
- 2021/07/31: now supports v1.3 (not tested with DLC which I don't have).
- 2022/10/22: now supports v1.4 (not tested with DLC which I don't have).
- 2024/05/03: now supports v1.5 (I will test with DLC when I buy it).

Yo! Would there be any way to add a "Trade to total" button, where you can automatically click it with a resource and trade it until you reach the trader's silver total (or as close to possible)? It's a pain to have to fish through all my steel in order to get to the exact amount needed. If there's a mod that does this as well, feel free to direct me to it!

Great mod. The wish-list window tends to overflow if more than ~8 items are selected, however.

Hi @星流之海, as long as other mod doesn't change how trading/caravan dialog is displayed, it should have no problem with TradeHelper.

Hi @Zeracronius, thanks for your comment, I think it's easier for you to incorporate TradeHelper's feature into your mod, feel free to use dnSpy and use my code in your mod, but you will notice my coding is awful...perhaps it's easier to rewrite the function by yourself.

I assume this is incompatible with Random's Gene Assistant ?
And if so, would it be in the realm of possibilities to get a compatible version? The genepacks highlight really useful。

Been interesting reading the opinions here. TradeHelper support/integration has been over half of all the comments i got, and it looks to be quite an often requested feature here as well.
I have been looking into and considering this myself, but I don't use trade helper personally, so i have no sense of the requirements.

I would be happy to work with you on coming up with a version of trade helper that could be integrated into Dynamic Trade Interface.

@Timmy, thx for your extensive answer. I thought as much, no worries man, you are doing a great job anyway and I did my fair share of modding myself. :)
Would've been nice to have both, but if it can't be helped, it can't be helped. Keep up the great work :)
Though I would second the request for the buy max buttons, they are so friggin useful :)

Thank you for the update! Been using Dynamic Trade Interface until now, but honestly, I'm just SO used to TradeHelper by now. Both are great, but I just prefer this one more, so I'm swapping back to it. The separate "buying/selling" tab that's easy to read and always at a glance instead of the two tabs is honestly a killer feature and I love it!

Would be cool to have the interesting feature that can be found in Dynamic Trade Interace in this one though, there's a button to "sell max" or "buy max" depending on your finances, it buys/sells just what you or the trader can afford, but not one piece more, so it's fairly easy to "even out" big barter deals
