Compatibility:

Currently this is incompatible with Hospitality when trying to make bunk beds into a guest bed. I am looking into it and will fix if possible.

Changes:

In order to prevent "pawns sleeping in the same bed" debuff I made it so you have to build the top and bottom parts separately. It will be the same amount of work/materials.

One small issue I noticed is that when the person on the bottom bunk goes to bed before the person on top, it occasionally renders their body so it looks like they are sleeping sideways or the head on top doesn't show.

When the person on top goes to bed first it renders normal...I may or may not look into this a little further at some point. But for now, it is what it is.

Original Description:

Denser beds for all your unconscious pawn storage needs.

Functional 1x1 bed for one pawn and a 2x1 bunk bed for 2 pawns.

Due to how beds are done in RimWorld, pawns sleeping in bunk beds will be sideways, the only work around would be to re-write how beds function, and I am not going to do that.

This mod should be conflict free and safe to add into any save file.

East oriented beds don't line up correctly so, avoid that for now if you can.

I uploaded a temporary update. You will be able to place the beds in weird configurations probably but the comfort will work on both levels. It will be a few days until I am able to look at it some more. But I hope this temporary fix will help for now.

Thanks again for the update to 1.3. This mod has been a god send for my game. I hate being that person but did you have any joy with the comfort fix?

I just took a quick look. I have a solution. I don't have time at the moment to implement. But might get to it in a few hours. I still don't have time to do a proper placeworker for it. But we'll see.

Updated for 1.3. Note: I didn't attempt to fix anything related to the Hospitality issues. This could also use some better functional code such as proper placeworkers, etc. I don't have plans to implement that at any time soon, as I have many other mods higher in the priority. However, the mod should still work as intended.

And, I'll reiterate, anyone is free to fork this mod and take over if they want.
