British GT3 - prototype and series

Description
With the GT3 an unusual design concept for a modern gas turbine locomotive for test use was constructed. The GT3 reminded with its frame to a steam locomotive. English Electric was determined to demonstrate to British Railways (BR) the potential of this type of propulsion. It reached a top speed of 145 km / h and showed excellent performance during the test drives.

- Traction : 265 kN
- Availability : 1961 to 1983

Well...
I found a video that there are predecessor prototypes, named BR 18000(GT1) and BR 18100(GT2);

I have no idea which locomotive the predecessor was, but regardless, I'm afraid the GT3 was my only trip to Great Britain.
