Inspired by the GAZ-51 Russian Truck

An Ideal build for Survival Mode

Features -
WSAD controlled
Straight 3, FWD / REV piston engine powering the rear wheels
Realistic "No torque" full suspension, beam axle front, " 4 point " rear
Doors,& bonnet (hood)
Lights & horn

I was going to call this truck "Hard Days' Work", as a full day (24h) is probably what it took to build... new tiny 3 piston engine to fit into the rear suspension...the logic to run it...the rear suspension itself. The front suspension from another WiP....and then the detailing which took far to long (and still not good enough)

Test driven up the biggest mountain and down again...although slowly

OK, thanks you. Real GAZ is very simple and copy will not lag to much.

Thanks for the great comment. Of course you can use the exterior :) I'm glad you like my GAZ-51 inspired body. I did not go OTT on the functionality to keep the fps high

It looks really great, but engine and transmission design are not realistic at all. Front suspension has another spring design. Back suspension has another design at all. It genius for this game and works better than real prototype, but it is not realistic at all. Truck has not differential and cardan shaft. Engine is I3, but GAZ-51 has I6 and GAS-53 (more popular modification) has V8. May I use your exterior and build full realistic copy of GAZ-53?
