Würfel Bohnanza

Description
Würfel Bohnanza ("Bonanza het dobbelspel" in Dutch) is a dice game in the Bohnanza family. Instead of cards, dice give you the beans that you must use to satisfy orders and (eventually) collect "Bohnentalers" (i.e., dollars, bucks, dinero...). The first player to collect thirteen Bohnentalers wins.

When starting, players get a random card containing six objectives to roll with the dice (e.g. "a red and a green", "three blue OR two yellow", "six different dice", and so on). After completing three, you can cash in your card for points (bohnentalers). The remaining objectives can also be completed, but each objective is harder than the previous.

Each turn, you roll and put at least one die aside on the bean field. You also check for any completed objective(s), and hide these under the bookmark if necessary. Once you're in the yellow part of the card, you can trade your card for points and continue on with a new card. This new card is shown in advance (called the 'passive card'), so you might pick to complete objectives for that card as well. Your turn ends when you've got no more dice left to put on your bone field.
There's an important twist, though: if you happen to roll the objective of one of your opponents, he or she may move up their track as well (they can't use the dice on your bean field, though).

This is a fairly basic version of one of my girlfriends' favorite games. And I've got to admit I'm surprised this was apparently never published outside Germany and the Benelux. I mean...the original Bohnanza gets reprinted the whole time but this completely different game shares little if nothing but the theme, but is somewhat a predecessor to current roll & write games.

Anyway...this version doesn't contain scripting (aside from a lousy "shuffle the deck when loading"). Perhaps I'll add some more quality of life scripting later, but please don't hold your breath for it.

Last but not least: this is a hobby project with no legal backing whatsoever. If you like it, please consider buying the actual version (if it's available in your region, that is).

How do you start a game? I only get to choose between the black and grey colours ...
