NEW Animal Location Maps (Hi-Res) - SALZWIESEN UPDATE!
By DownhillDom
In the following chapters you can find completely new crafted Animal Location Maps for all reserves.
The maps have been put together of 32 images each, so the resolution is as high as possible before needzones on the map are being displayed ingame.

Animal positions have been taken from their drinking needzones on my maps and others', so they could vary a little to yours, but the tendency is as accurate as possible. I've double checked these positions on several maps and they match, so data is valid. For animals, which don't use drinking zones, I chose one of their feeding zones instead. For some species there are so many feeding zones, that the map would nearly be covered in a few colours, so I grouped some feeding zones in an area.

At present I recreate all maps, because nearly every map got new species.
Additionally all maps get the new icon set as already used for Revontuli Coast.

Position marking is still in progress and will be continued. All maps start as v1.0, so you can see when an update has been made.

Sundarpatan has the 16 EXACT spawn zones for the 16 Bengal Tigers! Means, these are the home zones of every single one. So have a look which lake/water ressource belongs to a zone and you have the specific drinking zone possibilities.
Added 10 out of the 20 possible exact home areas / spawn zones for Snow Leopard. The remaining 10 zones will be added next days plus a few of their possible feed zones (there are too many possibilities for them to show them all).

When will we be getting an updated Te Awaroa map?

Update: ...and the last five spawnzones have been marked. Next step are the missing feedzone possibilities for snow leopards and we're finally done with Sundarpatan. :-)
Te Awaroa will become an overhaul after that.
Happy New Year's Eve!

@12Pointer: No need for apologies. I understood your intention. Just wanted to clarify, that it is technically possible, but not sensible.
The basic technique behind the needzones isn't super complicated. You just need to know, that there is a pool of defined position possibilities for every zone type. Then you have spawn areas, where animals appear and they only use a few of the pre-defined zones in their area. When you wipe out e.g. a flock of mallards, the system creates a new flock and connects new zones out of the "mallard area" with it randomly. This is why it is possible that e.g. two flocks appear in one zone and suddenly there are 15+ ducks. :-)

My apologies if that come across in a bad way.

@Dom
I ty for everything. I just thought it was in bad taste telling you of zones. I didn't mean anything by it, but just wanted the player to check everything possible and not depend solely on the map. I hope it didn't come off wrong. No bad intended.
